Read moreOne suggestion is: since you have done away with the paper certificates and employers who usually provide their employees with the paper ones but now have to use gift cards, you should make a change with your Honey Baked Ham presence in Kroger. Usually with the paper certificates you can redeem them at those participating Kroger's. I drove to a nearby Kroger to find out I have to go to an actual "store" to redeem it. Waste of time! Providing Honey Baked Ham in Kroger's is to provide convenience to your customer's I am sure. Then I drove all the way to the Kenwood location and I was next in line" a man was there but doesn't serve me. Then someone else is behind me and he assist her. He asked who is next and I even said "I think I was next" and he acknowledges what I said and replied "ok ok". I thought maybe she was looking at the case down the other end and was already being helped. Boy was I wrong! Next person in, he helped them and not ME! It wasn't even busy, it was today, Friday at 1p. I kept my patience and waited to see what would happen next, you know by this time I was going to see just how long it took. Finally the lady (that was just standing there in front of me but never offered to help) asked me "has anyone helped you"? I replied "no" and she did assist me. She sort of glanced over at the other guy with a look as if she couldn't believe that guy just overlooked me twice.
Being a supervisor myself in customer service (and over an escalation team) I thought you would want to hear this feedback Sorry I do not have names, but I could describe them if necessary. Although I do appreciate the lady finally assisting me.
So something that usually took no time, and can go to a nearby Kroger turned into a long drive for a horrible experience. I received better service from those working in the...
Read moreI arrived at the store at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday 4/11/24. I walked in the store and the first the représentative said to me was "Are you going to be paying with cash or card?" My response was I dont know, why? She responded that she had ready shut down the register so any futher transactions would need to be paid for in cash. Then I told her I wanted a half dozen slices of ham. Her response was, "We dont sell by the slice." I told her that I know for sure that was not true because I have bought freshly sliced ham from this location on many occasions. I have bought ham sandwiches from this location which of course are made with slices as requested. It did not take me long to figure out that this representative did not want to serve me because she had already cleaned the meat slicer and closed the register. So, if the transaction I came to do could not be accomodated with a closed register and prepackaged meat, then, she was not going to help me. That transactio l as well as future. transactions walked out of the store. How many other sells have walked out of your store because of this kind on interaction. Why is the store open until 6:30 if you are not going to serve the customers what they came to get. You are loosing business and getting a bad réputation for poor customer service because the people you have hired to serve your customers are more concerned about leaving the store at 6:30 than they are providing service to...
