HOBL Medspa — Local services in Sycamore Township

Before I stumbled upon HOBL I was jumping from brow place to brow place because no one could fully execute what I wanted, but not Alice! Yesterday was my first time at HOBL. I have a scar in the middle of my brow from a childhood accident. The scar also caused my brow to slightly lift higher than the other. Not only was Alice informative, she was able to cover my scar and level my brows perfectly. I also deal with hyperpigmentation and I loved the way that she told me about the services that they offer to help with that. I did not feel picked on, uncomfortable, or ashamed of my skin during that conversation. Alice made sure to let me know that my skin was beautiful while also letting me know that my skin can be flawless! So, stay tuned for a review on that as well.

This was a truly great experience. The lobby is beautifully decorated! They definitely put a lot of love & care into this medspa. I also got a complimentary glass of champagne, which tasted wonderful. My mom got her teeth whitened as well, and they look amazing. They send you home with a small sample of charcoal toothpaste and they make sure to fully cover the aftercare after your appointment! Do not get lip filler here unless if you want migrated lip filler. I came here to get 1/2 a syringe of lip filler immediately after I noticed the injector had over filled my top lip and told her my filler had migrated. I went in to get it dissolved she did the tiniest amount and wasn’t even noticeable that she had dissolved anything, she said we could do more sessions if needed. So I booked another appointment when I realized the filler migration kept getting worse. I show up to my second appoint thinking it was going to be complimentary since there was no mention of charge before I came in for my appointment or from my injector previously. I’m told it’s gonna be another $150 to dissolve the filler and I immediately say no. Why was I not told this before i showed up for my appointment? I had already paid for the filler which I expressed from the beginning I was not satisfied with, why would I pay more money to have a procedure done which I may not even be satisfied . The second employee proceeded to argue with me about the charge and turned to another costumer while I was speaking to her mid-sentence, extremely rude goes to show how much they care about their clients. Whereas the girl who did my botox (Adrienne) was friendly, she was far from skilled. I went in for botox for forehead and brow lines. I have had botox several times over the years and know what to expect. With the treatment I received from the house of brows and lashes, my eyelids now sag, I have never had hooded eyes yet they are very heavily hooded 2 weeks after my procedure. My actual brows sit roughly 1/4 to 1/2" lower than they did before the procdure, giving me a heavy brow look. My entire face is stiff and wont move even 2 weeks later. When I went to my follow up the girl who injected my botox was defensive and only offered her apology. That does nothing for my face! She blamed my muscles rather than the amount of botox she used!!! Ive HAD botox before as i stated. There was NO offer to help alleviate/fix anything nor to refund part of my expenses even though the injector used nearly TWICE the botox on me as any previous botox visit I've had elsewhere. Seems they were more desperate for a sale on their slow day than doing quality work.
