A few weeks ago my husband went to get us two fish platters and clam strips He said the cashier plainly said the warehouse had not sent them any. Today — now they are no longer selling them and no longer on the online menu or available ( clam strips). The service at this place has always been hit or miss Sometimes it’s decent sometimes it’s short staffed and or just angry type of employees —yelling and or asking What do you want?—- yes we have experienced that too! However the options out in this area for fish every now and then are limited so we decided just to start picking up our food. I simply don’t understand how they are still operating with the staff the out of things and the overall your annoying me for coming here attitude! Today the fish was undercooked the fries in the box ( I counted them I got 8 yes 8 fries that was one of my sides — and no clams because no longer are they selling them ! This is our last attempt at eating here I tossed my food out when I saw the fish was chunky brown and slimy to the touch when I bit into it — no need in driving back and attempting at a recook — I sure wish someone would take notice and do something about this...

My first impression of any restaurant is cleanliness, as I cannot stand to eat in a nasty environment. We always find this restaurant clean in spite of the fact that they cook with grease! The food was cooked fresh served hot and was delicious!! We did have 2 issues: one being they forgot to give us hush puppies on one plate and the second being they were out of plastic ware due to something about the truck. They had some behind the counter that they had to get next door at Popeyes, but it wasn’t stocked in the dining area! While yes that’s not perfect, But to me that’s just a normal mishap! Over all our meal and visit was great but I gave 4 stars due to those 2 issues. It needs to be addressed so it doesn’t become a habitual problem. But it won’t hinder us...

Her name was Malia and she was kind, compassionate, and we truly felt cared for and important because having a genuine conversation with anyone, much less a stranger who is minutes away from getting off work and is likely to be exhausted is extremely rare. She was relatable, genuine and gave us her full attention and didn’t make us feel like she was in a hurry or watching the clock. Nothing about the interaction was fake. Because of Malia and her kind and loving heart we were reminded of Gods love, faithfulness, and goodness in the form of a young 26 yr old who gave up her dreams to take care of her grandmother.
