I had a terrible experience at this McDonald's due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager. When I arrived, there was no cashier available at the front counter, and I don’t know how to use the ordering kiosks. When I had to obviously wave down what seemed like the manager for assistance he was wearing a construction-style safety vest , he was extremely rude, repeatedly telling me to use the machines instead of offering help. He didn't want to give me the time of day, I had to explain very fast, that I didn’t know how, he dismissively said, “We’ll get to you when we’re not busy.”
Meanwhile, I noticed he was friendly and attentive to certain customers, particularly the Hispanic Uber drivers, but not to me. I don’t want to assume the worst, but the difference in treatment was very noticeable.
A friend of an employee who was waiting for her friends shift to end, saw this discrimination and kindly helped me place an order at the kiosk. However, because there was no employee available to assist, we mistakenly ordered a Happy Meal instead of the Minecraft Meal my daughter wanted. The difference wasn’t clear, and no one could be inconvenienced to explain it to us.
When I approached the manager again to correct the order, he shouted, “Can I help you?” very rudely as if I was inconveniencing him, I told him we received the wrong meal, and he claimed he would have helped if we had just waited. But that’s not what he originally said— and I verbally expressed that he told us to wait until they weren’t busy, without any indication of when that would be. We had already been standing there for at least seven minutes with no assistance.
To make matters worse, when I asked if I could just buy the Minecraft toy separately, he told me,“No, we have people selling them on eBay, so you have to buy the whole meal.” This was frustrating because it was obvious that my daughter was a huge Minecraft fan—she opened the toys immediately. I wasn’t trying to resell anything, yet I was judged as if I were. My daughter could see the way that I was being treated differently and felt bad for wanting to go there to get this Minecraft meal. My daughter was apologizing to me. My daughter even tried getting me to eat a fry, to get me to feel better and my automatic reaction to it was disgust because it was so cold and tasted old. But besides that, in the end, I had to spend extra money on another meal that no one would eat, because the staff wouldn’t accommodate a simple mistake that could have been avoided with basic customer service. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and it left me feeling unwelcome...
Read moreA horrible experience from Beginning to end. The order taker didn’t even complete my order and asked me to pull to the front window. When I pulled up to the front window I was speaking with a completely different person then the girl I was with over the intercom. Had to replace my order and then was told to pull up into a waiting area my food to be brought out to me. Waited 15 minutes and then headed inside to find my order sitting on the front desk had to fill up my own drinks and asked for napkins. When I asked to speak to the manager. All Carrie the manager said was I apologize and I will get you a Mail the next time you come in. UPDATE: I went back to the McDonald’s To redeem my free meal that the manager Carrie had promised me. I tried going through the drive-through to make it easy and quick. I waited at the window to place my order for over 10 minutes without any response. I decided rather than wait in line just to go into the store. I then sat at the register with another man for another 10 minutes waiting for someone to greet us and take our order. Carrie was not on shift today so I spoke to another manager. He questioned why I was there and that if Carrie really promise to give me a free meal for the problems that happened last time. He then called carrie on a cell phone to verify the. granted me my free meal and asked me to write a review on the back of the receipt and leave my number for further follow-up. While waiting for my meal two other gentleman came inside and complained about the same problem that they had been waiting outside the restaurant in the reserve pick up spots for over 20 minutes with no food. This store is a garbage fire. There was never any control and never any Aplogy given. The manager seem to be more upset with us asking where our food was that actually providing customer service and apologizing for the lack there of. This store has fallen off...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst McDonald's in the area and perhaps the worst I have ever visited. Once waited 20 minutes (not an exaggeration) to even be greeted. Visited today for a delivery pickup and was not greeted at the drive through. I decided to pull through to the window and waited 5 minutes before someone opened the window and said anything. The young man started yelling at me and said, "Whaaaaaatttt?!?!?! What do you want?" I asked for the Uber order and he left and handed it rudely to me without saying another word. I asked for his name as he was not wearing a name tag and he said, "why do you even want to know?" I informed him I would be speaking to management and then he told me it was Chris; however, his hesitation leads me to believe this name was not actually his own. He also did not provide me with the complete order despite me verifying it with him. When I arrived to deliver the order to the customer I was informed the order was actually incomplete. Thus, the error of this McDonald's and its employees has caused me to lose marks for my job performance despite the issues not originating from my own mistakes. Moreover, I called the restaurant to make an official complaint and the "manager" on the phone did not greet me with the location or his own name, he simply answered the phone and said, "Hello?" I explained my issue and he offered no solution and made no attempt to rectify the situation. I am disappointed that this location is not only personally rude, but their lack of care put into delivering a quality customer experience has caused me a headache in my own...
