Was trying this place for first time because my usual place the owner retired. Waited 20 mins and then door dash called me and said driver wsited 14mins and then was told by restaurant they gave my food to someone else. Door dash said they tried to call restaurant to remake food but no one snswered the phone after several tries. $54 20 mins if wasted time by me, the driver I was credited back but will never eat here ever just due to how there customer service is, i do not reward stupidity or lack of good business. Next day, so we tried the food. I grew up eating chinese food in California near china town, and have lived all over the US. This is the worse chinese food i have ever eaten anywhere, even for the horrible food you get in Utah. I can not figure the disconnect of asains not being to cook asian food. If you fed that Char Siu to anyone that has eaten it the right way they would throw up, it is not suppose to be paper thin or brown or drowned in brown goo, i tossed it. You do know that sweet and sour pork is crunchy due to corn starch which is easy and not soggy goo. I make better egg rolls in a skillet with a you tube recipe. I will ssy the pork fried rice was one step above panda a fast food place. The fried wontons were soggy due to styrofoam which you only see in Utah, mainly due to their driver brain dead blocking fast moving traffic on 300 north trying to find a 6 inch tall address even though gps is right on my driveway. If you're giving this place more than 1 star get out of utah for a vacation. This is just not good food and not even trying go be authentic at all. Chinese food is never mush or goo, no...
Read moreSo food was not bad but the 2 hostesses (teenage girls) when we arrived were both laying in a booth as we waited to be seated. The takeout person had to get their attention. Also, after seating us they both went back to their resting booth to return to their cell phones. They should never not be doing something, especially when customers are watching. As a server, you are working for tips, if I see you on your phones then, you will not receive a tip. After ordering and being served, as we ate I needed a beverage refill and it took 10 minutes for some to be bothered to finally refill my drink . NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE!! What happened to uniforms? A simple pair of jeans and t-shirt with the restaurant logo would be nice. Not cut off jeans or high water ones that make you look like you are poor. I'm sorry, but I would like to see employees and restaurants show a little pride in the appearance of their emoloyees. We likely will not come in to eat again. If we do decide to return it will be carry out. When we paid for our meal, the two girls were still on their phones!!! Also employees should not be eating when paying customers are in the restaurant. They are hostesses/servers. They can eat on an...
Read moreThe owners and employees always take the closest parking out front, that says a lot about how they really value thier customers. Coming out of COVID-19 with in consistent hours I once mentioned their open sign was off , and shared it was difficult without parking and walking to the front door and seeing if it is locked to know if they were indeed actually open, the manager/ maybe the owner copped an attitude like a teenager bring scolded.......... this used to be my favorite Chinese place to eat, it has slowly gone " down hill " ( sadly no pun intended )for years even before COVID, dirtier, dingier, the food more and more like all the other slime on a plate, bland corner store Chinese food places, the company I work for brought in lunch a week or so ago from here, hey a free lunch on the company, who would complain, one employee didn't even bother to eat it, it was so bland and slimy, I was shocked when they told me where it was from, right down the street, and it was still warm so that had nothing to do with the quality. No one took the ample leftovers home and it went in the trash a week later as the company fridge was cleaned out. I really miss the old Dragon Hill, hopefully it...
