99 Nails — Local services in Syracuse

I have always had a good experience here but today, I called and asked if they had an appointment available and they told me to come in at 5 so I did and I waited for 35 minutes to get a full set. The lady who did my nails couldn’t even do a basic black tip set. By the time she was done with my nails, they were uneven, crooked And they did not look cute at all. They wanted to charge me $60 for nails that were definitely not worth that price. I asked if she could give me a discount on them and she got offended saying they were “great” and she had 20 years of experience. I’m sorry but miss ma’am if you had 20 years worth of experience, you would’ve been able to do the basic nails I had originally asked for… she asked what I thought they were Worth and I told her $35 at the most for this type of quality and so she got pissed and I asked if she could take them off and she said she would not take them off. She would just cut them very short. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at 99 nails. I will never go back there again. Be better to your customers. I’m sick of people doing half fast work and trying to charge an arm and a leg for...

Made an appointment before hand. Only waited probably 20 minutes before they started but I didn’t mind. I know that with a lot of these shops where they allow walk ins it can back up. They were very kind to us. Working in the nail industry is extremely tiring not only on your body but your mind from clients. The people working here are very hard workers and probably deserve more breaks than they get. Just a note for the customers: If you walk in somewhere don’t expect an appointment or for you to be served immediately. Don’t be entitled. You want something done well and fast? Make an appointment. Obviously you pay someone to do it for you so be respectful of that labor. This is by far the nicest pedicure I’ve ever had for this price. They were very clean and very thorough. I didn’t catch the ladies name who did my pedicure but she had short hair, not a bob or an a-line. You did a wonderful job and I’m very happy with what you did! Everyone there was very fast, very kind, and very great at what they do. I highly recommend...

Super frustrated with them. I have always liked this place, but today - even though I had an appt - I sat with my feet in the water waiting for them to start for nearly an HOUR. No one saying anything to me about the wait or how long it would still be. The lady sitting next to me, also with feet already soaking, had been waiting even longer in silence. I had to just get up and leave. I was had already gone out of my way to use this salon and was squeezed into a tight schedule today... and with no end time in sight or anyone giving us any idea how much longer I’d be waiting I had to leave to get to my next meeting. Now I won’t have time to go anywhere else either. I feel really deceived. PLEASE don’t make appts with people if you clearly won’t have enough people to fill them all. Again...
