I am blown away at the service we received today at Coopers! We walked in at about 4:45pm really hoping to get some fish and chips and a gluten free burger for our daughter who has sensitive food allergies. We were greeted right away by a staff member who notified us that they were closing the kitchen at 5:00pm to relieve their staff from the heat. Having worked in kitchens locally and in California, I no doubt understood and fully respected and supported their decision to do so! I asked if we could squeeze in a Togo order and they were so nice to accommodate and invited us to have a seat with some water while we waited. We got our bill promptly and I found the manager and gave him a $20.00 bill for the kitchen staff to have a round of beers on us after their shift as it was 108 degrees out and I'm sure a very long and hard shift in the kitchen!
When we received our food, the kind server (I wish I got his name) approached my daughter with a beautiful pink flower saying that he had a feeling that was her favorite color. Her eyes LIT up and was so happy! To that man, THANK YOU! To show a young girl the kindness you did is such an amazing gesture and truly one she will probably never forget. To follow that up, we told her to thank the man and the server who brought us our food stopped and was shocked by our daughters name as they shared the same one spelled the same way! Another mind blowing moment for my daughter as she has never had a name twin spelled the exact same way!
The entire way home, she was so happy about the whole experience and so were we! Being in the industry, I understand fully the pressure and hard work they put in every day and especially on a day with an extreme heat that closed many local restaurants.
To the crew and owners at Coopers, good on you! You are an amazing group of people and I will continue to support your restaurant and staff as long and much as possible.
We got home to find an absolute divine meal waiting for us and savored every single bite.
I recommend this restaurant a million times and have already shared with many family members who will frequent this establishment due to their thoughtfulness and absolutely amazing food.
Thank you from a very happy customer...
Read moreDrove down for dinner on our way home after playing in Seattle pokemon go fest. We wanted something out of the busy downtown Seattle area and saw lots of good reviews and figured it looked like a good place to stop. First thing I'll say is there are no stops here and spawns are few and far between. Someone create a POI because there should be one here! Ok that aside the food here is really good and the portions are great. Goldielocks would give her just right stamp of approval. The beer selection needs to be beefed up in the stout and porter department. Dont order a watermelon cider and expect it to taste like watermelon. Its more like white wine meets apple cider. It wasnt bad just not what was expected at all. Our group was a good size and we discovered mixed drinks is where they shine here. This is a bar with a bartender who knows what they're doing. The food menu has a nice selection and everyone in our party got something different and we were all happy. The pizza is about the size of a medium domino's pizza but made WAY better so you can rest assured it'll feed 2 just fine. I got the bbq burger and it was pretty good, I give it 4*, and my friend who got another burger, I cant remember which one, was just as happy as well. The bathrooms here are clean and ladies this is one of those places you know really thinks about their customers and cares because in the stall they have a nice basket with complimentary feminine products should you find yourself needing one in a pinch. We all know weve been there and places that do this are scarce so big applause to management for this one! Over all I highly recommend this place and will definitely make it a stop when I find myself driving up from or back...
Read moreBrace yourself, because this is going to be long and sappy. What an INCREDIBLE experience 👏 😍 ❤ 🙌 From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Emily and Brittany and wouldn't you know it, but the grand master himself, Howie was there, too busting his arse, working just as hard as the staff to make this place exceptional and our dining experience a memorable one! My family and I took my dearest friend here to celebrate asignificant milestone birthday (her 40th!!!) and I am sooo glad we did! Our server, Anthony was extraordinary! He set the tone and kept our table top notch, and was so accommodating, patient and kind. He comes highly recommended! We got to learn of the story behind Cooper, and the long time anticipation of opening and extended closures of the business due to unseen circumstances, culminating to this spectacular ambiance and opening that it is now! It is so modern and sleek, with a retro vibe and I totally dig it! Food is fantastic and hearty, full of flavors that burst in your mouth upon every bite with generous portions and a beautiful display and serving set-up. Soooo delicious! I got the Lamb burger, and my friend opted for the pulled pork pizza, and we shared the Lobster bisque. 100% drool-worthy for sure! The attention to detail with the special touches all around is apparent and, in my opinion, is what gives this place a stellar review! The bathroom has gorgeous REAL bouquets from Blitz & Co. Floral company and that made me feel so swanky and elegant. What amazing finishing touches! I will most...
