Single handily the worst McDonald's I've been to. I live near by (~.5 miles) and frequent this branch regularly, however tonight's visit finally made me give up hope. I as well as three friends visited through the drive-thru and right away stated we had two separate tickets/orders. I ordered one of the quarter pounder Halbenero meals with a large fry, an extra patty, and a medium water (I didn't want a drink as is, however they told me it "came with the meal"....but wanted to charge me $1.79 for the drink.) -- Regardless, we proceeded with our order. A grand total of $32 at around 9:30pm, and we waited for around 20 minutes prior to someone even coming to the window after paying. During this whole time, we heard the 'employees' in the back of the kitchen just laughing and joking around, even making fun of our orders. Honest to god, when we were handed our "McNuggets", I wanted to throw them back into their face due to the words I heard back in the kitchen. I've been to this location numerous times and I really don't know why I keep coming back. Perhaps it the convenience of having food 5min away, perhaps its the fact they are on my way to work right along the on ramp to I-16 each day. Regardless, don't visit these folks. They do not understand the concept of good service, speedy delivery, or customer satisfaction. Truth be told, based on what I've heard from the kitchen when they think the customers aren't listening, I would love to see the FDA visit them and give them hundreds of citations. Everything from the bathrooms, to the service, to even the counters simply...
Read moreI only go to this McD's when I plan on dining in. The reason for this is that literally EVERY time I have gone through the drive through, they have gotten my order wrong (either incorrect items, or missing items). The last time I did so, I politely asked them to check my bags before bringing them out because the order is ALWAYS wrong. The manager apologized and said it would be correct this time, but it wasn't. They can't even get it right when you challenge them to get it right! The manager was really embarrassed that the order was wrong even after she told me it wouldn't be. Then today, I go in and order $10 worth of food and ask for a cup for water. The cashier gave me a small (10 oz?) cup, so I asked for another since there were two of us and I didn't realize it would be so small. The total for my order seemed high, so I asked why, and was told that they charge $1 for an empty cup. I was charged $2 plus tax for two small empty cups without being told until I questioned the total! I can understand charging 5 or 10 cents per cup (which would probably still be a profit over what they pay), but a $1? On the plus side (which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1), the food is usually fresh and hot, and the employees are...
Read moreI don’t enjoy writing poor reviews about a place, however I feel my recent experiences at this McDonald’s warranted it - the kid at the drive-thru check-stand is completely unprofessional. I went to pick up my burger and fries but as I pulled up I was told by him that they were out of the specific item I ordered. The truck never delivered. I said “ok, can I replace it (other burger)?” only to have him protest about it costing more.
I asked “what are we going to do then?” only to have him say that what I SHOULD do is get the backlight of my car fixed. I became annoyed considering it had been a long day and I was just looking to get my food. He handed me my receipt and said “have a nice day” while I was still left there confused as to what was going on. Turns out he lied about the truck and my food not being available.
I went a second time expecting a quick trip and to just not see him at all; unfortunately, I was wrong. He started up again saying I didn’t pull forward enough, asking if I even cook considering I go to McDonald’s “everyday,” and badgering me about my age.
I don’t expect a fine dining experience or to be greeted with inflated hospitality, but this felt unnecessarily...
