This was my very first time visiting and upon entering the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. Staff is extremely courteous and nice. My only issue was the food. I am an expert pho eater and have tried many different locations of the same that I ordered. It really surprised me when I ordered it here and my pho was sweet as if there was sugar in the broth. I was not given no beans sprouts even though I requested them not sure if they come with the dish at this location or not but I did request them and did not receive. I also ordered an order of egg rolls. They weren't even hot, they were barely warm as if they were microwaved and yet they came out after I received my pho. I also tried to order a bubble tea of a flavor that I had never heard of before. I was not able to get it because I believe they were out of their bubble tea at the time which was upsetting. They only have one size unlike other locations where you can choose a smaller or large. And it almost seems as if they take out some noodles to make room for the vegetables which was not cool. If I'm going to pay $10 or more per person, I want them piled up!! I'll consider giving another try possibly but it was more of a surprise when I ate the steak pho and it was sweet tasting...I didn't know pho was supposed to...
Read moreThe gentleman who took my order was very kind, however, they were out of spring rolls and even tho he was kind enough to give me other options, I was still confused since the restaurant is called fresh rolls lol. We decided on shrimp pho, egg rolls and drinks (they were also out of thai tea). The whole service was kind of a mess after that tbh. We sat down and waited a while. I don't mind long waits at all. There was only the one gentleman working up front so I can be patient. However, the pho came first. I had to ask for the egg rolls and drinks. One pho order didn't come with the broccoli that was offered and they were also out of lime. The egg rolls were delicious and so we're the drinks (hibiscus tea and ginger tea) but the flavor of the pho was very mild. I'm used to deep flavor and this was barely that. It almost started watered down. I also have to say that the gentleman there, tho very kind, never once apologized for not bringing our egg rolls out (I had to go up to the counter and ask for them), being out of really everything, and he also never checked on us once even tho he walked by several times. I'm still curious about the fresh spring rolls but I'm not sure it's worth it...
Read moreThe food is good but their online ordering system sucks. Got there to order a sandwich for a quick bite to eat but was told to order through their website because their register is down. Long story short there was a service fee and then a convenience fee for placing the order online that didn't show until you input your payment and finalized the order. Anyway, told them to cancel the online order and was told their register is back up again😲 So ended up paying the old fashion was in person with my credit card. That's why I deducted 1 star for the payment hassle.
The food here is good. I ordered BBQ pork bahn mi sandwich. I was expecting the Vietnamese style grilled BBQ pork but it was the Chinese style BBQ. Anyway, not what I was expecting but still good. Everything tasted pretty fresh and the bread was really good. Soft inside and toasted crispy outside. I would come here again but won't be ordering online because of the service fees. Like why am I being charged fees for inputting my own order? That's more work for me that I'm doing for them. So there goes...
