Being our first visit, we got the combo meal, an order of dolmas, and an Al bacha chicken wrap. The dolmas tasted incredible! The beef/lamb gyro also tasted incredible! Amazing flavor/seasoning on that beef/lamb!
In comparison, the more expensive Al Bacha chicken was somewhat disappointing, though. According to the menu, the difference should be the addition of hummus and feta cheese, but there didn't seem to be any of either in the sandwich. The dominant flavor was just of raw onions and chicken. Since there also isn't any sauce on the Al Bacha, it also ended up dry. That said, it was still a large sandwich with plenty of nicely cooked meat and was overflowing with diced onions/cucumber/lettuce. So I feel we still got our money's worth. They were perfectly filling sandwiches.
The cashier/server was also super kind. Great service!
So, yes, I would go back. The other two dishes tasted amazing, after all. I just would stick only to the cheaper beef/lamb gyro and save a dollar by not buying the more expensive, less...
Read moreIN AMERICA …. It’s 4.5 stars! Why is it that you can’t find any real gyros, real Greek or real Mediterranean food ANYWHERE in America except Michigan or NYC? Unless you specifically ask for it, gyros are NEVER served on a pita in Greece! In Greece and all of Europe, you use gyro bread! Pita only for a gyro platter. Same with dornars or swarmas! Also, in Greece you RARELY, if ever get lamb in your gyros … it’s usually pork and chicken or pork and turkey or beef/turkey or just Turkey or chicken …. Same with donars (in Europe donars are with pork and Turkey in a nice crunchy bread! In Turkey, beef and lamb or beef or chicken) - most Muslim countries won’t use pork. This place is one of the better ones I’ve been to in america but hate the pita! Meat isn’t minced so that’s spot on (the lamb is so that’s a minus). Great customer service and very clean! One advice - don’t skimp on the tzatziki - you have one of the best ones in Washington. For America - 4.5 stars! I’ll likely be back as it...
Read moreWe were really craving some Mediterranean food and noticed this place had a 4.9 rating, so we had to check it out. Let me tell you, it truly lives up to its rating—I’d give it a perfect 10 stars if I could! The customer service from Vanessa and the manager Rosie was exceptional; they answered all our questions willingly and professionally. Despite a small rush while we were there, you could tell the staff worked well as a team. The cook prepared the meats—chicken, lamb, and beef—beautifully; they were thick, juicy cuts. The freshness, crispness, and quality of their produce and meats were evident. We tried the bacha plate, lamb and beef gyro, Greek fries, babaganoush, and the chocolate baklava. We were very impressed and will definitely be coming back, even making the drive from Puyallup because it’s worth it. We did take picture of everything we got because we...
