Dangerously Overcrowded
I visited Bajas on 10/12/24. It was extremely overcrowded and felt unsafe. I could barely move in around the club without being squished between people. Someone shoved me, and I nearly fell. Overcrowding is a serious safety risk as it’d be difficult to evacuate if an emergency were to occur. Management should learn from past tragedies such as Travis Scott (2021) and Itaewon (2022). I would strongly advise against visiting until they address their overcrowding and safety issues. Prioritizing profits over safety isn’t cool.
Edit:
Thank you for your reply. I understand Bajas is a large venue and might have been recently inspected, but those inspections focus on building safety, not managing large crowds. On 10/12, I felt that there were inadequate measures to control the flow of people, making exits difficult to access in the case of an emergency due to overcrowding.
The date I went to Bajas should have been clear based on when my review was posted which was 10/12/24. Suggesting I retroactively report issues to security rather than posting a review feels dismissive given the limited amount of security personnel that were present to begin with. My main concern was the crowd management, which could be improved to enhance the customer experience and reflects a lack of effective leadership.
Due to the lack of crowd control and your lack of professionalism, I won’t be returning to Bajas and will let my friends know to avoid the venue as well. I hope this feedback is...
Read moreMy friend ordered a drink and was charged $5 on card. I ordered a drink from same bartender, Paige, and I was charged $10 for one drink made with well vodka. I asked her why I was charged double and she told me I paid with a different card and that’s why I was charged a higher price. We paid with the same card and have the same bank. She then claimed that there was a $10 min on card transactions, even though she had charged my friends card $5 two minutes before.I asked one of the security about the situation and he told me $10 for one drink did not sound correct. He informed me one drink was $5. When I confronted the bartender, Paige, she denied trying to charge me $10 for one drink and told me I ordered 2. I later came to find out that one of my friends was charged $48 for 6 shots at the same bar, but then was charged like $20 something at the bar in the back. Been to this club many times and will say this is my first bad experience, but the behavior and actions of the bartenders are completely unacceptable. Trying to scam or overcharge the customers for things they didn’t order should not be tolerated and I do hope they consider finding...
Read moreMy advice is don't use your debit or credit card here. Went to see Datsik here the other night and bought a few drinks, first one cash, second two on card. All were $5, but the very last one the bartender said there was a $10 minimum, which I assume was bc it was late in the night. I asked if they could charge 5 to my card and take the 6 ones I had in cash. The bartender didn't say anything, brought me the drinks, and I signed the receipt and he took the cash. The next day I see two charges on my card from Bajas, one for $10 and another for $11. Wth? It seems like they charged $10 to my card BOTH times I used it, which is pretty messed up considering the first bartender never mentioned a $10 minimum, and I assumed the second bartender was going to split my tab like I'd asked him. Instead I guess he just took my $6 as a tip, and now I'm out an extra 10 dollars bc of this practice. Seems very shady to me, so I would advise you to use CASH when you go to this place so they can't just tip themselves 80% voluntarily the next day once you're gone. You've...
