Bubbly Tea Bar — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I don’t really write reviews (ever) but I felt that this place –more than anywhere– deserves five stars from me. As far as the atmosphere goes, I can best describe it as “chill.” There are all sorts of board games available to use and the table sizes vary from 2 to like 10 or 12 so bring as many or as few people as you would like (or go alone and focus on getting some homework done; it’s a great place to concentrate and not go insane from being stuck in your room). Me and my s/o go there several times every week because it is legitimately our favorite place to be in Tallahassee. Although we’ll occasionally just drop by to grab a tea or two, normally we like to hang out there until they close (which is later than most other tea places thankfully). Another part of what makes this tea bar so special to us is the staff. They’re incredibly kind, good-natured, and especially friendly. From jokingly asking “you guys are back again already?” to being very helpful when trying to choose something from the menu, I couldn’t be more impressed with the way that the staff treat the customers. Finally, the tea is the last topic that I would like to touch upon. I will admit that the menu isn’t absolutely huge like that of some other tea places. However, I personally find that to be more preferable as there are still plenty of options to choose from. I am a fan of just about every single tea on the menu (I have tried most of them) and couldn’t recommend more that you try them all. I’m going to wrap up this review by emphasizing that there is not one single activity that me and my s/o enjoy more than hanging out for hours on end at the Bubbly Tea Bar. It’s something special to us and I’m incredibly glad to always have this place to look forward to when I’ve had a long day. Five stars...

Still new to the Boba shop. From what I hear this is under new management, I can't go off of previous experience as i never went to it before.

However this new management allows people to pay with cash or card (back than it was a card only store which limited some of the older audiences)

The food so far is pretty good, compared to boru boru the Takoyaki is well cooked and seasoned as their piping hot out the fryer (a mini fryer to avoid greasy smells like in a restaurant) and the korean cheese corn dog with jalapeño is compared to eating a giant delicious mozzarella cheesestick a nice coating of mayoketchup with delicious coating of breading.

The Boba (strawberry milk tea) isn't anything to drive home for but still a nice freshing drink.

Overall the place is a very relaxing atmosphere, nice Boba and delicious Asian snacks. I will be coming more often to try other entrees and teas to see if I can raise the 4 to a 5 star soon.

Another fun feature is that it does include board games for the family

After returning back again to Bubbly Tea I can say I really enjoy their wide variety of snacks and their tea.

I have just tried their Coffee Milk Tea and really enjoyed the dark taste of coffee with chewy taste of the Boba. I also tried their other dishes like the Potato Korean Corn dog which i enjoyed it was like eating a giant cheese french fry. The Popcorn chicken was definitely unique as it was chew as it had a nice herbal taste which paired well with the Siracha sauce.

It was wonderful having comeback and look forward to more visits to try more...

Last edit: I am moving and just tried to visit one last time only to find, of course, the hours have changed again. Ugh, this place is so frustrating. Good luck.

Edit: okay, changing my review and my rating. I genuinely do like this place but the constant changing hours are driving me absolutely crazy. And they refuse to use social media so you don't even know they're closed until you drive all the way out there. This has happened to me so many times now because I like to stop by on the way home each time the "new" hours taped to the door are completey different. You guys have got to have a better system than that. This is so irritating and unprofessional. Love the tea, hate the service. I'd rather support a local business but you guys are making it extremely difficult. Please use the Facebook you already have. The two updates you have from January and February are not even close to how often you're changing hours.

Old review: Favorite place to get boba tea. Love that I can get plain unsweetened tea with regular honey boba and don't have to worry about extra sugar milk or syrups. The staff is also always super chill, I really like them a lot. Just moved to Tally and already have been here maybe 10 times....
