Subway — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I will start by saying I wish I would have read the comments from others. I assure you they are not wrong. I go in today my family and I just moved in this area. I love Subway. I worked with Subway in the past for many years. I order the Italian. Since Subway has rebranded the menu they have 2X the cheese on most sandwiches which is a great addition. Obviously it's reflected in the price but that's fine. I see I do not get the double cheese and the very unprofessional gentleman said "well we charge a cheaper price for regular cheese". I was a bit disappointed but I said ok at least it will be cheaper the the posted price. We then ring it up. And he rings it up for the menu price. I then say wait the the price the menu says. He the starts to talk but gets interrupted by a VERY RUDE middle age woman that tells me, with a straight face, "the price on the menu is for regular cheese, if you want double cheese it's $1.00 more.". I'm now annoyed because your trying to gaslight me into thinking I don't know how a menu works. So I say "That's not how a menu works. A menu has a product name, a description and a PRICE. It does have a product name, description and then the price for something else.". I have the man the money and say I just moved nearby but I will never return. The man is now embarrassed and is handing me my change back tells me he's giving me the dollar back. I tell him no I leave the dollar on the counter and leave. I've been in restaurant management for 28 years. They will be out of business within a year if they don't change. Trying cheat a customer out of a few cents. They lost a guest that would have easily brought them a couple hundred a month from my families business. And I'm just one person. You don't grow a business by cheating and stealing from the people that are there to buy...

Horrible experience!! I went last Saturday it was drive thru only me and my friend was in a Uber. While trying to order at the drive thru the worker inside rushed my order thru the drive thru wouldn’t let me speak. He repeated the order to me after being rude. After receiving my food I went home opened the sub to see it was nothing on there that he repeated to me. I wanted the sub so bad I went back before closing. I told him my sub was wrong he allowed me inside as he continue to tell me that was the right sub in a rude manner. He takes gloves and opens the sub and looks over it. As he continues to search for the items that I said was not on there. I just wanted my items on there, and we would have been fine. He takes the sub he was just looking all through and tries to put the toppings on that sandwhich he played over. I asked him to make me a new sandwhich he refused to saying I’m adding your toppings and there is nothing wrong with putting on the sub he just played thru. My Uber driver was a prior customer that had the exact same altercation with the same man about him being rude and not giving the proper customer service nor quality food. Went to this location for lunch today. I had a coupon and they wouldn't except it. The lady, who looks Indian, said no locations in Tallahassee are accepting them. I called her out and said that was not true. I just used one at magnolia as well as plenty other customers. And I used one at the location on north monroe street. She tried to blame it on the owner as the reason. I went ahead and paid for my 6 in sub without the coupon. Next thing I witnessed while sitting in my parked car, the same lady came out the store in a hurry to stop this lady, in a white bmx suv before she pulled off. The lady handed her the bag drove back in and parked her truck. The subway worker then came back out a few minutes after and handed her another bag. I assumed she initially handed her the wrong item. But this appears to be cross contimination. Not only that, that lady in the white bmx truck may have opened the bag. I don't think any food establishment is allowed or should be doing that with food.
