It looks pretty cool, but it was dead, we went on a Sunday and summer season. We went to check out the skatepark and it is right behind it. They have a great vintage shop that was open. We are from Jacksonville Beach and do not have Season's so our shops are always open, especially on the weekend. But it seems on the East Coast we have 12 month and committed retail hours and then central to the West is "no business on Sunday" church day. I never quite understood this cause I am in the retail business and work to the needs of my customers cause I need to make money. Anyways, the shops that were open were hopping so the business is there, it was just most were closed. One building unfortunately got hit by the tornados we had a few weeks back and was destroyed. My heart goes out to the owner and businesses that were affected and we hope to see the building...

This place was an absolute surprise I was not expecting. My husband and I tried to find something to do to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary while visiting family out of state. We are pinball fans and play competitively in North Texas- so Flippin Great Pinball is how we found this area at all. We fell in love with all the art, the atmosphere, and the friendly people in every place we visited. This is a place that tells you exactly who they are and invite you to enjoy all they love openly. Wish we had gotten to visit on a first Friday of the month as we were told they do a block party every first Friday. This was one of the best experiences I have had celebrating our anniversary so far. So thank you Tallahassee Arts District for giving me a beautiful evening I will not soon forget with the...

•Artsy neighborhood. •Unique, boutique-like stores where you can find variety of mystic items (some Indian traditional herb, Turkish evil eye etc.) •Vintage stores where there are old trinkets (especially good for Fallout game franchise fans). •I saw a martial arts school in the area. There is a book store with cats as well but the entrance is a bit tricky. •There are also those "healthy super food" type mini restaurants and a bar. •First Friday of each month is kinda a night out here, so you will see a lot of people walking around. If you are a foreigner and complain about the lack of social life, this may ease you a little bit. *Objectively speaking, the district has a concentrated political atmosphere, so if you do not share the promoted values and/or you are a foreigner, you may feel a little...

The evening ambience goes unmatched. Perfect spot for a 1st/2nd/3rd date, and always something new to see, do or talk about. You HAVE TO walk down to the rattler skate park & play the xylophones very badly, then try to run up and climb the half-pipe. Lots of unforgettable nights are had out there in Railroad Square.

Such a great place to explore! You have to check out Cap City Video Lounge, probably one of the last DVD rental stores left in the world! The collection is HUGE!! Also check out Fat Cat Books! The kitties are so chubby and cute and they have a great selection of books!
