Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I never had a problem at this location until the last two times I went. About 2 months ago I ordered a Zalad with grilled chicken and got home to see crispy chicken, this was disappointing. Further more there was a ladybug in the salad as well. I did call and the manager said she would comp my meal the next time I come in. Fast forward to today. I didn’t worry with mentioning the meal comp, ordered my sons 5 piece chicken finger combo and ordered myself a 5 piece boneless wing combo with the buffalo sauce on the side. I also waited at least 8 minutes at the window itself, after ordering and all. I hate the sauce on the chicken because it makes it soggy. Anyway, got home (which is about 20 min away) and of course the sauce is all on the wings. There is also no celery, which is supposed to come with the meal. I called and I’m sure they would have offered to comp a meal again or whatever but who has time for that. I love Zaxbys and I always thought they held a higher standard than your other traditional “fast food” places. But I won’t be returning to this location. Super disappointing. I went to Zaxby's after work to grab a quick bite. I knew it was getting close to 10:00PM, but I the only reason I stopped and didn't go somewhere else that's open later is because when I pulled into the drive though there was another car at the speaker, so I think, okay they aren't closed yet and are still taking orders. I didn't even want anything difficult, just fingers and fries. But anyway, I watched the other car place their order and pull up and pay. I waited. And waited and waited. I double checked the hours online. Open every night until 10:00. I watched the other car pull up past the window after they got their food, and it looked like they picked someone from Zaxby's up, so I guess that's why they got food? But since I wasn't playing taxi, I wasn't getting the same treatment. I finally just left after I realized that I clearly wasn't getting service and when I drove past the drive thru window there was one person sweeping and two other people around him doing absolutely nothing but joking around. Again. I get it, it's close to close. But I pulled up to the speaker at like 9:48, and at the end of the day, if you're still open, you're still open...

Subject: Disappointing Experience at Zaxby's

Dear Zaxby's Customer Service Team,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had at your restaurant located at 2319 Monroe st Tallahassee Fl on November 4 2023. As a loyal customer, I have always enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service at Zaxby's, but my most recent visit left me extremely unsatisfied.

The staff were nice but there was one woman that stuck out and very rude , and it was clear that there was some form of discrimination towards me. I’m sure she was a shift leader or manager I will update this review with her name when I get the information.

The drink machine was out of order in the lobby and I was told the drink machine in the kitchen was for drive thru orders only but I observed her get a drink to someone else in front of me from the lobby

I then left the lobby and went to the drive thru window and stood there with my three cups for myself and kids. The staff at the window were appalled that I had to go to the drive thru window for drinks. Horrible experience
