Altieri's Pizza — Restaurant in Tallmadge

My favorite pizzas were always Gionino's Tallmadge and Guiseppe's caston rd Akron until last week. I went to Gioninos and they were closing , dang I was so hungry for their pizza . Reluctantly I went to Alterios at the circle in Tallmadge When I went to pick them up Sumner - gen mgr- was there and I advised her I had never been there before but my favorite place was closed. She smiled and said I bet this will be when you try it- I smh in disbelief. I ordered 2 small pizzas dropped one off at my sisters. Ohmygosh , my sister called me before I made it home raving “best pizza she ever ate”! She was right - lil bit of deliciousness right there - now MY “hands down” favorite pizza. Went back Sunday and ordered another small pizza and a large antipasto salad - check out the pictures , cut the coupons from Tallmadge town planner and treat yourself to the BEST pizza - I know I know, hard to believe , but I swear you’ll be a believer after your very first bite ! ...

I walked in hungry, but left with my soul nourished. This pizza isn’t just food—it’s a spiritual experience. The crust? Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of chew, like a hug for your taste buds. The sauce? It’s like a well-kept secret, rich sweet and tangy, with a flavor that whispers, “Yes, you can have more.”

And don’t get me started on the cheese. I think it may have been made by angels. You know that feeling when you meet someone and immediately know they’re the one? That’s how I felt with every bite. This place does not disappoint. I made a lot of bad decisions in my life and this is far one of them!...

THE best, family owned, family run pizza business in Stow. We’ve been coming to Altieri’s for over 30 years, and it is the best, homemade real Italian food with the freshest ingredients. And, the food is not out of a commissary box into a fryer or oven. If it does not pass the owners or managers inspection, it is remade.
