Great lord, what a dumpster fire. I had previously rated this McDonald's a 4/5 stars. That was until I chose to go inside to order because I thought it would be faster than the long lines in the the drive-thru. I was disgustingly mistaken.
Kiosk ordering to start. Im 29 years old and had the TOUGHEST time ordering using the kiosk. I gave up about 1 minute and 30 seconds into trying to order and walked over to their ONE cash register that nobody was at. I waited behind a woman for 8 minutes before an employee finally made their way to the register to ask if we needed help.
I asked to order at the register, like MANY others behind me. Then proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food; if it weren't for already paying I would have 100% walked out.
Like others before me have said, you have 0 access to napkins, straws, condiments, or fountain drinks. Good luck with trying to get an employee's attention to get more of anything you need.
There was one employee manning the front. I watched him bring tray after tray of food out to the dining room, stop to help anxious customers, and take orders at the register. He was very pleasant and helpful despite clearly being overworked and out manned.
The place was busy, at least one family per table, and a packed play place, which is beyond embarrassing to even call a play place. I don't have any small children but I peeked my head into the play area to see what they upgraded, and I immediately felt bad for the kids crammed into the very small area with absolutely nothing to do. I felt bad for the parents trying to order food for their children; overwhelmed by the long wait time and impatient kids... not a fun experience for kids or their adults.
And someone please explain to me why the handicap spots are the furtherest from the building & the walk to the door from the parking lot is thru the double drive thru lanes...
These modernesque remodels that all fast food restaurants seem to be adopting are making the fast food experience...
Read moreI will never go to this McDonald's ever again. If this location doesn't have enough people to man counter/drive thru, then they need to close the inside and do drive thru only. Not only did I stand at the counter for almost 10min before I was even able to place my order, but myself and several other customers stood there a long time waiting for our food to be done. The one person who was supposed to be doing counter was filling drive through orders when they had 2 people filling them already. An employee who had clocked out and placed her order after mine, she was able to get her food before me or anyone else who had been waiting. After waiting 25min for my food, I finally spoke up and said something to one of the drive thru workers. "Are the customers who are in here going to recieve their order sometime today??" And it was like a how dare I say a word. And I got "So sorry your having to wait. We are doing the best we can." Is what she said. Customers who were there long before myself, were shaking their heads in disbelief. A lady who was standing by me and whom she had waited for about 10min before anyone had even greeted her, and it was only after I spoke up about our orders did an employee acknowledge her and took her order. But she even said that the Tallmadge Circle location has been going downhill for a while now. Not exactly sure why the manager was doing an interview when it was so busy and obviously her workers were overwhelmed and most definitely could've used her assistance to get her ppl caught up. As far as my food, I recieved luke warm fries, my glazed donut was rock hard, cheeseburger was also lukewarm. So it was an absolute waste of...
Read moreThe McDonald's off of Tallmadge Circle has to be the dirtiest one I've ever been to with my husband and granddaughters! Well my husband placed our order I noticed how dirty the counter was and then when we go to get our drinks that area was just covered in filth from ketchup to who knows what all we couldn't put the tray down to get our drinks, napkins, ketchup (which was empty), etc. When we got to the play area my husband had to clean and wash off a table with disinfectant wipes which McDonald's did supply for customers to use (I'm guessing they supply the wipes so customers can clean the area that they choose to eat at because they don't provide you with that service). The playground was just awful and it made my skin crawl just thinking about my granddaughters playing on any of it let alone taking their shoes off (upon getting home I did throw away their new x-mas socks which were now black and I was not about to put in my washer 🤢)! We have taken the girls there for a couple of years to eat and play but never has it been this disgusting and if I was smart at the time we should have just cancelled our order and left but lesson learned never again will I stay and eat in such a disgusting place again and Never will I go back to that McDonald's, those workers and the company both should be ashamed a long with being fined! PS... I pray to God that my family nor I (anyone that ate there) don't get 🤢 sick 🤢 from that visit to McDonald's off of...
