Randall booth, is very rude! My place of employment orders from here all of the time, food is always great! Today was an awful experience! I called and ordered 3 large pizzas at 11 am today, one being, a chicken buffalo, I requested extra sauce, because last time the crust was over done and it seemed a bit dry so I requested a little bit of extra sauce Randall laughed, and said extra sauce? It’s already a soupy pizza, I said okay then I don’t want extra sauce, maybe he was trying to help, just bad with words, so I brushed it off, and decided not to get extra sauce, because of how he made me feel! I proceeded to order, and it’s almost as if he was trying to rush me through the order, he gave me the total I paid, we hung up! I called right back Randall answers the phone “Romeo’s pizza, pick up or delivery” I said “ I actually, just ordered, I …….and cuts me off “oh, yeah” As in it’s you again, what now. Me “ sorry, I just wanted to confirm the total, of $66.00 for 3 pizzas” 45 minutes later I delivered the food, I was working, so secretary grabbed the food for me, I didn’t get to leave a tip and I was never asked IF I WANTED TO LEAVE A tip when he totaled me out, but had every intention on leaving a cash tip, and expected to be available when they came, but didn’t work out that way. Well this evening i get phone call from Romeo’s , a man with a snobby tone tells me that I didn’t leave a tip, I was upset that I even received a phone call like that lol so I said “no, didn’t leave a tip, and the guy I spoke with early was rude.” Him, how was he rude” so I explained, and he says, “ you know this is me right?” And hangs up on me, so I call back, and he hangs up on me again, I call a third time, and someone else answers . I explained that he was in the wrong for calling me and confronting me about a tip! Tips aren’t mandatory , and I didn’t tip to be mean, I was working when they came, and even though I was upset I wasn’t going to take it out on the delivery driver, and asked if it was possible to charge my card for a tip, they said yes, so I left a $5.00 tip on $66.00 for 3 large pizzas and 2 20oz 🤷♀️ he was way out of line for personally calling me to tell me that I didn’t leave a tip, that was not his job, his job was to ask if I wanted to leave a tip, BEFORE HE CHARGED MY CARD, not later in the evening when I’m at home with my family!!!!!! Again my place of employment orders from here 15 to 20 pizzas at a time, often. Plus individual pizzas, They’re tipped well!!!!! They lost business because of Randall, way to go Randall, you got your delivery driver a $5.00 tip but it’ll be the last that you get it from me, and the last Romeo’s gets from me as long as you’re employed here!!!!!!!! $71 for 3 pizzas and a...
Read moreI ordered at 6:25 PM today, Friday, the 17th of November from the Tallmadge location on Erie Street. They are less than 2 miles away from me. The order said it would be ready in an hour or less. I went to let my dogs out around 45 minutes after I ordered and found the food sitting on my side porch. I put no contact in the delivery instructions because I have three dogs and I didn’t want them to have to stand on the porch and deal with my three dogs barking… however they just left the food sitting on my porch without a knock or phone call that let me know that the food was even dropped off. I brought the food inside and it was cold. I called the store and informed the manager on duty about what had happened and they had said that the driver was instructed to leave the food on the side porch. I asked why they didn’t knock and just walk away to let me know that the food was there…. I was in the basement, the entire time doing carpentry and working on finishing my basement… How am I supposed to know if the food has arrived when there is no tracking information online available and the driver did not inform me that the food has been dropped off?? the manager had said that he had been in food service for over 10 years and wasn’t worried about his job when I informed him of how unprofessional he was being…. This was all over a simple knock to let me know the food was dropped off. No contact means the driver isn’t going to stand there and wait for me to open the door but that doesn’t mean he can’t simply knock and walk away so I know that the order is at least out there and it’s not getting cold. My partner and I have both worked in food service a combined of 15 years and have never met someone with this type of attitude. He offered to remake my food which I agreed to, but still never apologized for the entire ordeal and kept making excuses. Manager just had a terrible attitude. I have been someone who has loved Romeo’s for many years but I will definitely not be ordering from this Romeo’s...
Read moreUsually customer service is great at this location, and I always get exactly what I paid for...With the exception of today! (Thursday, June 10th 2021) Despite explaining Clearly what I wanted on my pizza, when I got it home, it was not what I asked for... When I called back to inform the manager (who had just gotten there at 5p) of what happened, he offered me $10 off my next order, which was fine, but he was very uncaring, and unapologetic, and treated me as though I was an inconvenience to him. Then, he proceeded to hang up on me because he was supposedly busy with other customers! I called right back to tell him that I didn't appreciate the way he had dealt with me and proceeded to remind him that no matter how busy he is with other customers, I am a customer too, and I deserve the same consideration and respect, even if I am over phone, as any other customer! This so-called manager was very unprofessional and rude, and apparently needs much more training in...
