My family of four went to eat here on Memorial Day (5-30-2022) and placed our order at 8:04pm. We ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and 3 fries. After waiting 20 minutes and being told that the wait was due to ordering spicy chicken (I couldn't understand why). The true reason that I gave one star and that I am writing this review is that a couple that ordered 1 minute after we did and received their spicy chicken order 5 minutes before us was offered "complimentary" cookies or brownies and an apology for their long wait. Not the case for our family. We received our order after waiting 25 minutes and not only were we not offered complimentary cookies or brownies, but not even a "sorry for your wait" apology. I asked to given the same as the couple next to us only to be told that there were no complimentary items to give. I inquired a second time and all of a sudden there had to be a manager involved. No manager involvement for a couple right next to me, but my family needed management approval for some strange reason! The two managers and several employees that I spoke with in this store really "played dumb" when I explained to them what had just happened. The female manager, after much dismay, offered us 1 brownie for our inconvenience! My personal assessment is that my family was discriminated against and not treated the same as other customers. We are African-American (I am a U.S. Army Veteran) and the other couple were white. It was obvious to me that these complimentary actions had been going on before our visit because it was done without hesitation and definitely without any manager approval. Why were we not treated equally and why did management need to be involved? I was totally disappointed with the service that we got at this location and I wanted to express my feelings so that others patrons will know how we were treated there. Happy Memorial Day to all the veterans who served this country proudly and I hope that your day was...
Read moreWhy allow yourself to be in the park if you're going to still be Shills... You really ruin the integrity of your operation by not allowing people to get lemonade or with the all-day dining passes. Maybe, maybe I could understand lemonade. But it's the South and you can't have sweet tea? But you're allowed to have Coke and any other fountain beverage. But really sad part is every other venue run by Busch gardens allows you to get sweet tea but the southern institution of Chick-fil-A doesn't? I just don't understand why you would ruin your stellar reputation over something so trivial... One of the things that makes you stand out and stand apart from all the other fast food chains that charge you for every little package of sauce and even ketchup in some places now. I noticed people can still get 20 packages of sauce. But they can't have sweet tea or lemonade with the dining pass. I remember when you're outside restaurants used to charge extra for the lemonade and then they stopped. I understand that it's fresh squeezed and takes a little bit of Labor to get it done... You're a multi-million dollar operation, hire one more body and give people lemonade if they want it. These are the things I don't understand when someone decides to make decisions like this that are only going to affect customer satisfaction. But even if you want to stand your ground on the lemonade I'm going to say it again. Sweet tea? Five stars was given on atmosphere because the atmosphere is not designed by you it's designed by Busch gardens. But food and service sorry you failed people...
Read moreWe have been going to Busch Gardens for years, ever since I was a toddler. I have to be honest because I used to love this place for it's attractions, shows, and it's food, but the food is honestly not great at all and we were hoping that this Chick-fil-A would be better. It was worse. We ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches, one regular chicken sandwich and two medium waffle fries, I honestly thought we accidentally ordered off of the kid's menu the portions were that small. There were no combo meal options, the menu was very limited, and the prices were absurd for the amount we got. The total without the discount was 39.98 for portions that a child could eat and still be hungry. I ordered the spicy hoping for some flavor, it honestly was not spicy at all, however, someone else we were with considered it to be spicy so I would say spice is moderate. Then my father who had the regular had to dunk an entire barbeque packet on his and still dipped it in another in hopes of some flavor. The fires were honestly the only decent thing that we had got, however they were not worth their individual price. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this...
