D'Lites Emporium — Restaurant in Tampa

Google says they close at 9:30pm, Apple says 9:30pm, even there website says they close at 9:30pm. Walk in at 9:03pm proceeds and the owner tell us they are close. I had to convince her to serve me, then when I asked for a second sample to try she tells me sorry “one sample only” and I was buying 3 large cups... I spend $21 and the cashier forgot to ring up one of the toppings on the ice cream. Any other person or owner would’ve told me don’t worry about it, nope not this one, she charged me separate for 1 topping… The worst customer service, even more disappointing it came from the owner of the business. LOVE THIS PLACE (south tampa location) the staff is super nice and welcoming!!! My only issue is that there is no consistency in the amount of ice cream you get with the soft serve. Certain staff members barely give you any. Its too expensive (which i don't mind paying) but not if its half filled.

The other day I got 1/2 the amount normally and it was very soft/melted. probably best to just buy the take homes since at least you know exactly how much you are getting every time…

The desert shop is great if you are on a diet. My girlfriend and I just started doing keto and she love's sweets more than food, so it has been a constant battle for her. We discovered this desert shop some weeks ago and decided to visit tonight. The staff is very friendly and the also have really good deals of the day. The ice cream is low carb which is perfect for keto. Sometimes you get that sweet tooth and you need a quick fix and to be able to get that while sticking to your diet is beyond amazing.
