Absolutely do not recommend this location. I ordered a sandwich with delivery through DoorDash, everything was great until it was delivered COVERED in green mold. I first contacted the store, to notify them of such and simply wanted to request it be remade for delivery or I would pick it up as they had no control over DoorDash delivery. The phone was answered by a gentleman who showed some concern but not much at all, I was able to state the I received the order covered in mold but it was delivered by DoorDash, I was told “I can’t help you, contact DoorDash and then hung up on”
I was able to contact DoorDash who was able to offer me a refund on my purchase.
I then decided I was going to call and speak with a manager this time, I was able to speak with Lauren, who was ABSOLUTELY RUDE and HIGHLY unprofessional. How she was hired or received a job as a manger is beyond me, but a talk with the store owner will quickly have that changed. She laughed, made a joke of the situation again said she could not help, and practically said she wasn’t dealing with it so I needed to call back on Thursday to speak with the other manager that would be there, oh and she also states it was DoorDash’s fault, which it was not LAUREN and HER STAFF made the sandwich NOT DoorDash.
Here is a photo of the sandwich I was served, OH I WAS NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER THAT DAY TO RECEIVE A MOLDY SANDWICH.
I recommend you take your business to another location and a recommend Lauren find herself a new profession not in the line of management and ask her parents to teach her manners. She has an ugly soul and...
Read moreBeen going here for like 12 years. Never had a problem. The owner/manager was very condescending today. (Not sure if he has always been the owner, but just recently seeing him working behind the counter) Apparently, if you reply to their survey based on a past order, you cannot use the code for a free drink on the app. He acted like he was doing me a huge favor to give me the free drink without a purchase at the cash register-despite picking up my mobile order. Anyway, my mobile order was delayed by 10 minutes (of course, on my lunch break). He then proceeds to yell down the counter at me (in front of a line of people) that I also can't use a code for a free drink, in the future, if I'm making a purchase from the Offers page (two subs for $14). No two deals at once. LOL. I will be sure to fill out this next survey honestly - and delete any code- & I will be sure to never visit this location again. I thought about just leaving his $2 drink on the counter & walking out with my paid for subs - but, nah, I deserved the free drink after all of that. Probably best not to be a jerk to your customers or act like they are trying to pull one over on you. Insinuating I was trying to take advantage or be cheap. He must come from a low trust society. Anyway, plenty of other restaurants in the area, along with other Firehouse subs locations...
Read moreWe have been going to this location for many years. In the last year it has gone downhill. The couple things that we have experienced in the last year are: 1-the hot sauce bar is always deficient. We go there for a particular hot sauce that they havent had in the last several trips and ALL the others that we go to have (2) 2-the wait, particularly yesterday, was noticeably longer recently. We frequent other locations with lunch etc. and visit this one on weekends since we live near. They have changed the way they cut the subs and yesterday my son’s sub had a mouthful of meat on one half of the sub and the rest of the meat on another. The other locations are consistent with our early experiences with Firehouse. We were brought 2 sandwiches and waited, a significant amount of time, for the third. I never see the franchise owner there, and I remember seeing him, if seldom, before. The young lady who appears to be managing now is curt and unfriendly. There are staff there that observably try their best and are cordial and friendly. Do yourself a favor if you live in South Tampa and go to the location on Kennedy. They’re...
