Warning! They will not take "To Go" orders 15 minutes before closing on Friday. I called & saw on Google, Hooters closed at midnight. So I called at 11:45 and a lady answered and I let her know, I was placing a "To Go" order and rattled it off. She told me to wait a minute and then came back and told me, "We aren't taking any more "To Go" orders as the kitchen is closed." I said, "it can't be closed, it's not midnight!" She kept on and I asked to speak to a mgr. I explained to him what happened and explained that in the restaurant business, if your sign shows open until midnight that means food service too. He said the kitchen is NOT closed but they stop taking "To Go" orders at 10 minutes till midnight. I stated it was 11:48 & we had wasted 2 minutes of cook time discussing the time. Would you believe he actually said, "well I have 11:49"! Oh yes he did.🤨 I said back, "good, I have 1 minute to place my order." He said just this ONCE he was going to "let" me place my order but if I'm not there at midnight too bad. So again I placed my order after he handed the phone back to the lady. Boy she was not happy and not nice. Downright rude. Slammed phone down. Yes SLAMMED! My friend ran out the door to get the order and said there was a police car outside and 2 Hooter ladies and 2 men were out w/police "discussing" something loudly and when he walked up, they stopped DISCUSSING. He could hear them inside too. He said lady was rude to him too and he does not reward bad behavior w/tip. See, I hadn't told him she was rude to me. Also said he walked in and watched the cook making our order. Shrimp had no breading like they ran out of the package mix and chicken wings were hot but puny. He said he saw that manager before and he told me "he always acts like he doesn't want to be there". So, it was not just my impression but also my friend's impression. He helps me on projects and when it gets too late, we always call in an order. That's how close I live to this place. He was there to pick up our order before the doors were closed or order was ready. A shame and hope GM or...

My family came from Spain to visit us in Tampa, and with great anticipation, we decided to visit Hooters at the request of the younger members of the family. They were very excited about the experience, but unfortunately, we had the worst restaurant experience we've ever had in Tampa.
From the very beginning, our server, Juliana, was unfriendly and showed little interest in providing good service. Since it was the first time for our guests, they took some time to decide on their order. However, Juliana ( Jules ) took a long time to return and, when she did, she had a disinterested attitude while taking our order. She did not explain the menu, and when she brought the wing sauces, she responded with no enthusiasm when we asked about them. Shockingly, for some sauces, she simply said, "Oh, I don't know what this one is." A server at a restaurant should be familiar with the products they serve.
She also did not bring all the necessary utensils, forcing my brother-in-law to go find more. When she finally brought them, they were wet, and my husband had to dry them before using them. Is this really considered good service?
Later, we ordered an extra burger, fries, and a dessert. The restaurant was almost empty, yet it took at least 30 minutes to receive our order. By that time, everyone was exhausted and frustrated because we never felt welcomed.
Our family members from Spain had high expectations for their visit to Hooters, and instead, they left with a terrible impression. The most ironic part is that they always spoke about the excellent service in U.S. restaurants, only to experience the complete opposite during their visit. They left feeling sad and disappointed.
I sincerely hope the restaurant owner takes note of this poor service and implements corrective measures because this experience will be talked about all the way back in Spain. What was supposed to be a highly anticipated visit turned into a bitter memory for our guests.

Read moreWell where do I start.. So walking in our waitress was very rude disrespectful and the manager Darien was sitting in the back of restaurant talking to a waitress as I walked up to tell him about my food and my family food was coming out separately instead of together so as I walked up to him tell him what was going on he tells me very rudely I don't want to hear it and walks away from me I say to him well I'll call your supervisor and let them know how your managing this restaurant. The staff in the back I witnessed the gentleman scratching his face with his hand and then taking the same hand and he scratched his face and grabbed the glove out of the glove box on the wall and they proceeded to put the glove on and never washed his hands then our food came to the table and I also tried to tell the manager that he didn't want to hear it so he wanted to tell me that he was going to call the cops so I tell don't call him he didn't do nothing wrong you waitress was very rude and you're very rude he falls outside and started talking trash to the customers that were out there about us drinking their wine and their beer and then you proceeded on the side of the building back inside. Very terrible experience if the waitresses recognize you and you don't leave them a good tip The next time you come in they treat you like crap and that's the truth because the big girl with the glasses Amanda was very rude to us we asked for extra ice in our tea before she even gave us the tea and she gave us very little ice in our tea at the time that we asked for extra ice and then she waited to come back to the table 45 minutes later after our glasses were empty 45 minutes she decided to come over and ask if we needed refills very rudely we felt very unsettled there that's why I wanted to approach the manager and tell him but he did not want to hear anything I had to say at all Love to be contacted about...
