illy Caffè — Restaurant in Tampa

I ordered a single sandwich while no one else was in the cafe and ended up waiting for 20 plus minutes while the ONLY employee took several other orders and completed them before even starting mine. I assumed they were simply understaffed and she was frazzled from the rush until another employee FINALLY came out of nowhere to help. While I was standing at the counter she ended coming to me 3 separate times to ask what I was waiting for, and on the final time she stated that she called me but I wasn’t there, ignoring the fact I had been standing there the entire time. She insisted on remaking it instead of giving me the one she had already made and had been hiding behind the counter from me the entire time. Ticket number #6124. The order was very slow to make. I just got a bagel and cream cheese and it took 10 minutes when it wasn’t that busy. The person at the counter even asked what I was waiting for and yet after I told her they still didn’t begin making. The worst of it was the bagel was like eating a rubber band, so chewy and difficult to eat. They put it in the turbo chef instead of toaster which is probably the issue because it’s like you micro waved it. I don’t normally go here in Tampa because it’s super busy but this time I did and wish I didn’t. I’d like my money back...

Above and beyond! Thank for being patient and truly caring! I Sent my 10 years old son with $5 to pay a drink for him self. I was standing far a way and watching! My son order drink and blueberry muffins ( that cost more than $5 ) . The lady on charge( I forgot her name ) … was very patient and explained to my son in a nice way the difference in the price despite it was very busy and long line waiting behind him ) I don’t know if she is able to read my review because I want to thank you very much for your professional service that was above and beyond...
