By far one of the most DELECTABLE bakeries I have visited! I stopped by this morning after getting blood work done and I am SO GRATEFUL this place opens up so early!! The presentation is absolutely incredible, when I walked in I felt I had stepped into an absolute heaven of delights for myself, there were so many options of enchanting treats that even after ordering so much the price only came to roughly 20 dollars or so. The staff have clearly made an effort to make this establishment the finest it can be, they are hardworking and the overall atmosphere was absolutely charming despite it being so early in the morning. The lovely lady who had helped me and my family to the treats was very patient and understanding of our curiosity and excitement over the variety offered. I purchased a wide array of items, from cakes to a cute fried potato ball, and BY FAR nothing in this bakery fails my appetite💖 The treats were scrumptious, although be warned they are quite sweet, they are possibly the most IRRESISTIBLE treats I have ever encountered! The fried section was surprisingly seasoned to ✨ulimate perfection✨as I expected it to be stale, cold, and bland from my experiences with other fried beef-filled pastries. My only complaint is packaging, as items aren’t typically packaged individually so everything was jumbled with one another, unfortunately this lead to the frosting of the sweets being splattered against each other including the fried portion of my purchase, but none the less in my heart this bakery is...
Read moreBeen coming here since i was a young kid, almost 40 now. Always get my Cafe con leche if i am near by. Lots of selection of sweets, breads and pastries all of all kinds. Coquetas de Jamon here are maybe the best in The Bay! Was not satisfied that they are charging for all the condiments on your Sandwich Cubano. Lettuce, Tomatoes, even pickles are all extra charges!!! Times are difficult but these are basic condiments on a Cubano and don’t think charging for lettuce is necessary and the other stuff. So at this pace a $.69 Lettuce ball will yield around $30 for them. The amount on a sandwich is just enough to give sandwich a little crunch but no need for the charges. Que eliminen esos cargos, pienso que estan fuera de lugar. Un Cubano por favor- Lechuga, Tomate? Si o No? ok… mismo precio! I ya!!!!
Update: the Quesitos used to be the best and only the best in The Bay! I usually order 20-30 at one time every time i come, i picked up 12 today and not happy with them. The cheese was all dried up and not enough sugar on top as they used to do with the original owners used to do. I loved them because they had real cream cheese and was more a spread. These looked more like crumbled bread crumbs or like brown sugar texture wise, clumpy and dried cheese. Was not too happy to have bought so many. Fix them please or you will loose a very loyal customer or over...
Read moreNot happy with they're nonchalant attitude or their lack of communication...and I speak Spanish. Went in to order my daughter's birthday cake. I told her my daughter wanted an ombre cake with teal fading into light pink. With a crescent moon and stars on top. She was condescending and argumentative about everything I asked. When I said can you put happy birthday on top she said there was no room and I said thats fine just put it along the bottom on the tray. Then I asked if she can put the number 19 she said " Well how many things do you want to fit on this cake? There's not going to be any room" all I was asking was for a moon and stars all standing and the number 19 standing as well. The pictures of their custum cakes in their catalog show way more complicated things than that. The cake of course didn't come out how we asked. Instead of ombre teal and pink we got a layer of blue a layer of light blue and a layer of pink. I had also explained in Spanish what teal was mind you. They did write happy birthday on top of the cake when she said they couldn't and they had plenty of room to have been able to stick the 19 in there. The moon they used was a weird shape more like a skinny triangle sticking out of the top that they cut out of one of their styrofoam containers. I had to make the moon myself out of fondant and bought my own 19 and it...
