THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THE FOOD IS 100% VEGETARIAN & STAFFS ARE EXTREMELY ILL-MANNERED AND CALLED COPS ON ME FOR TRESPASSING WHEN I WENT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE CHICKEN IN MY FOOD WITH MY 2 SMALL CHILDREN AND MY WHOLE FAMILY IN THE CAR WAITING AT THE PARKING LOT AT 9.30 PM I am a 35 years old vegetarian who has never eaten meat in my life. I ordered tomato soup and Mediterranean salad at the restaurant and picked it up yesterday. It was around 9 PM and not a busy time as restaurant was quite empty and staffs were preparing to close up. I was also sick and I was half way through with my soup and found a piece of chicken in it. I was extremely shocked and horrified of what happened. It was horrendous to have a meat in my mouth. I was extremely upset about this and rushed to restaurant immediately to have a word with the staff. I explained how horrific my experience was and the manager did not even apologize to me or said she can refund me or I can get out. It was extremely unfair and she did not even acknowledge that it happened due to some mistake and took absolutely no responsibility for what happened and simply said cross-contamination is a possibility and disclaimer written somewhere in the restaurant and there is a chance that this can happen and they do not guarantee a 100% accuracy about their vegetarian food. If they apologized for what happened and been polite and offered me a refund, I would have left but they kept threatening to call cops on me and I said I was okay to call the cops myself and explain about this and I went outside immediately as suggested by the police officer on phone with me and when the police arrived at the restaurant, I was sitting outside and yet they gave me a trespass warning (yellow note) saying I should not return to this place for 365 days. The behavior of the manager and other staffs was extremely insulting and ill-mannered plus I have a written trespass warning for complaining about the meat in my vegetarian food. This is the peak of power abuse and the manager was also using an extremely mockery language like "oh! you want to be a cry boo boo baby" as I was in tears due to their extremely impolite behavior. I couldn't eat anything last night and slept on empty stomach and could not even sleep over the disturbing...
Read moreOkay, I understand quality food should cost more, but Panera is getting out of control. I purchased a 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and an iced tea= $13 dollars!!!! And I am very unhappy that you now are being asked if you want to tip the person taking your order in front of them. Why should I tip? Are you going to bring me my order? Are you going to bring me condiments as needed? Are you going to see if I need anything while I am eating? Are you going to bus my table after? The answer is NO! Then I should tip myself! Traditional restaurants cost more because of the service provided, here, there is no service so why the high cost? It is bad enough that my lunch was $13 and I did not get any of he perks that I would receive if I ate at a traditional restaurant, such as someone to wait on me or see if I need anything. But it is rude of Panera to ask you to tip in front of the person and tip for what service? Shouldn't Panera pay their employees to take your order? I bet Panera is now telling their potential employees that they are going to now be receiving tips to entice them or to offer consolation since the pay is poor. This is not right. And it seems that every time I go to Panera there is a new set of employees! They cannot keep people working there. And the tables are often dirty! I have to ask several times to have someone to come clean the table and I often just wet napkins and do it myself. The staff seems like they don't care, but the management is worse. Where is the customer service. Possibly I have to tip someone in order to get a clean table. They are often too busy at the counter laughing and playing around to actually realize they are at work and possibly should acknowledge their customers. McDonalds does...
Read moreI've been a Panera fan since my college days. I love the fresh food and the welcoming atmosphere that engulfs you whenever you walk in.
Last week I was leaving my dentist appointment and Panera is close by. This particular location is special to me because I used to work nearby and would come here for lunch often during the week. I haven't worked at my old job in at least 5 years. I was surprised and happy to see when I walked into Panera a familiar face was standing behind the counter.
If you've been to this location then you have to know Darwin. He's always smiling, eager to help and super quick on his feet to take and pack up your order. He always has a willing and helpful attitude and just brighten up anyone's day when you walk in. He's a valuable assets to the Panera team and I'll definitely keep coming back to this location due to him.
I didn't take any food pics but if you want to know what I ordered here's some of my fave Panera items: -chocolate croissants -half a dozen bagel pack (plain, Asiago cheese, cinnamon crunch) -oatmeal cookies -Orange juice
