I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the delivery service on a Friday evening. Despite specifically requesting contactless delivery, Robert, the delivery person disregarded my request and knocked on my door, waiting for a response.
After handing me the food, I thanked him politely and was about to close the door when he surprised me by giving me a receipt and a pen. He mentioned that the delivery fee did not include the tip, as if I wasn't already aware of that fact. After that, he DEMANDED a tip and even reacted with a snarky face when I declined.
First and foremost, who is he to demand and coerce me into giving a tip? Tipping is entirely at the discretion of the customer, and I can choose to add a tip later on the app if I desire. Last time I checked, people tend to tip when they receive exceptional service, which was clearly not the case here. It was a display of remarkably poor behavior.
I couldn't help but wonder if his conduct was influenced by my previous call regarding the incorrect sauce cup, which had been mishandled twice in previous delivery orders. This entire experience was utterly absurd. It is completely unacceptable that they disregarded my request for contactless delivery and demanded a tip....

I placed my order online for delivery and at the time I should have been receiving thefood, I received a call from the store that one of my items was unavailable. I asked them to refund the item to the card and was told they didn't know how to and would just have to cancel the entire order and have me reorder it or come in to pay. I then tried explaining that I used papa some rewards and wanted to know how to restore them which was answered with "look, do you want this order or not". I then requested the team member's name which she refused to give me. I then requested the manager's name which she also refused to give me before hanging up in my face.
When I called back and spoke to the manager "Fran" to inform them of what had occurred, he dismissed my entire situation and then refused me a refund because the order was "over a week old", even though I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING!!! He then refused to give me the general manager's name and continued insisting "there are multiple" until I persisted in requesting the district manager's name to which he became frustrated and started yelling "Todd, todd, todd...his name is TODD". I requested a phone number and his response was...

I called to place an order 3X's and was placed on an immediate hold once the person heard my voice. After being taken off hold I was hung up on. As my friend sat at the table she called on her phone to place the order seconds later and was NEVER placed on hold. The person struggled to hear her and still placed the order. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and tried to apologize for their ignorance, but I stopped her. Why should she apologize for another human being actions that she's never met? And why did your server refuse to take the order of a black women and repeatedly hung up on me? Papa Johns shame on you for hiring BIGOTS.
