This is a beautiful park so I will give a second star. I frequent here, for things like cycling, roller-blading, and running. I am obligated to pay $2-$3 every time I come here, to park in the parking lot. Honestly, having to swipe my VISA every time like that just seems a little unnecessary, just to spend 30 minutes on the trail. But, the aforementioned was just to preface the real reason I am writing this review . We pay taxes and parking fees, but they cannot replace a $5 air nozzle for the tire pump for bicycle tires? I packed a bike that I hadn't used for a while and the tires were flat, knowing that there was a pump there. The nozzle at the end was broken off so I had to load the bike back up and waste time finding somewhere else to pump the tires up. I hadn't been cycling over the last year, but about a year ago it was broken. I would have thought that after 1 year this simple repair would have...

Park is always great, trail for walking, running, roller blading, biking. They have water at every check point. The one off Bruce B Downs connects to 3 main trails and plenty hiking trails. The hiking trails are great to explore, bring water and a snack for those type trails, the main trails it connects to are the 8 mile loop...for roller blading, jogging, biking...all paved and water at every check point about every two miles. From Bruce B Downs trail when you get to the cross road go left, straight is gravel that goes along I-75...to the right is another trail n park with a zip line and rubber climbing things great for kids and adults. Have fun and remember which park you parked the car. The cross road is about two miles in, 8mile loop is 8 miles and connects to Morris Bridge, the one to the right goes to park by water plant. Have fun and bring the dogs if you have any as they are allowed as long as you clean...

I've passed by this park many times and just decided to swing by to take a walk with my 2 puppies, and was I surprised how beautiful it really was. It's $2 to park and the machine takes exact cash or a card. I didn't know what to expect but there is a very nice paved surface for bikes, roller blades, strollers, or wheelchairs. About 2 miles in is what is called 4 corners and there is ice cold water and a few benches to rest. That area starts a bigger loop, but there are actual hiking trails very nicely marked if you wanted to venture off the path. I managed to get the pups in their stroller to do 4 miles out while jogging and everyonewas so friendly. It's just a beautiful area of real Florida landscape with tons of wildlife. Right before sunset it's cool and pretty to see the colors emerge behind the dark pine trees. Definitely recommend this...

I find this trail the perfect place to get a great workout. There is a paved trail, which is perfect for bikers and rollerbladers. It’s also a family-friendly area. I prefer the dirt trail that runs parallel to the paved trail for my runs, but the paved or dirt trail is versatile to suit a low-paced walk or fast-paced run. There is always an abundance of people, so you never feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The park rangers also regularly patrol the trail and are usually in their trucks at the trail entrance. There is also a water station at the entrance and at the 2-mile maker (immediately preceding the south loop). The hours are typically sunrise to sunset (i.e., changes by one hour for summer and winter). I highly recommend purchasing an annual parking pass ($50) if you plan to frequent this park or any of the conservation parks regularly! :)

Love this park! There are so many animals to see along the way, the trail is nice and even. You can walk, run, rollerblade, or bicycle. The trail from the Bruce B. Downs entrance is 2 miles into a loop, 7 miles for the loop, and 2 miles back from the loop to the parking lot (11 miles total). There is free cold water in coolers with paper cone cups every 2 miles along the trail. I've seen lots of deer, birds, bunnies, and snakes here. There are 2 public bathrooms in the parking lot area, along with a Gatorade vending machine ($2/drink). The parking is $2 per car. The hours do change by season so make sure to check online before you go. They do open and close pretty sharply on the hour that is posted.
