This is a beautiful park so I will give a second star. I frequent here, for things like cycling, roller-blading, and running. I am obligated to pay $2-$3 every time I come here, to park in the parking lot. Honestly, having to swipe my VISA every time like that just seems a little unnecessary, just to spend 30 minutes on the trail. But, the aforementioned was just to preface the real reason I am writing this review . We pay taxes and parking fees, but they cannot replace a $5 air nozzle for the tire pump for bicycle tires? I packed a bike that I hadn't used for a while and the tires were flat, knowing that there was a pump there. The nozzle at the end was broken off so I had to load the bike back up and waste time finding somewhere else to pump the tires up. I hadn't been cycling over the last year, but about a year ago it was broken. I would have thought that after 1 year this simple repair would have...

Read moreI've passed by this park many times and just decided to swing by to take a walk with my 2 puppies, and was I surprised how beautiful it really was. It's $2 to park and the machine takes exact cash or a card. I didn't know what to expect but there is a very nice paved surface for bikes, roller blades, strollers, or wheelchairs. About 2 miles in is what is called 4 corners and there is ice cold water and a few benches to rest. That area starts a bigger loop, but there are actual hiking trails very nicely marked if you wanted to venture off the path. I managed to get the pups in their stroller to do 4 miles out while jogging and everyonewas so friendly. It's just a beautiful area of real Florida landscape with tons of wildlife. Right before sunset it's cool and pretty to see the colors emerge behind the dark pine trees. Definitely recommend this...
