This review is strictly based on a really bad customer service rep that picked up the phone. She said her name was Judy but I’m not sure if that is true since it was so obvious that her service was the absolute worst. I’m Spanish so I recognized her Spanish accent immediately. Tous Le Jours has no direct phone number and no way to place orders online like all other Tous Le Jours in the country. Basically there’s no way to know if an item is in stock or a way to place an order for anything because there’s no way to reach them. I called the Customer Service help desk (surprise, their job is to help customers) and Judy wanted nothing to do with that. She was so unhelpful and all I asked her was if a certain cake was available before I made the drive there. I can’t be the only person who is trying to get a hold of you directly. The meat, seafood, deli and produce department all have phone numbers, why not the bakery? Judy shouldn’t be working customer service as she seems to have no experience with kindness or...
Read moreToday, I wanted to buy a strawberry and chocolate cake from here. The staff gave me the strawberry and dark chocolate one, but I told them I didn’t want that and asked for the other cake. the staff also complained, saying, “This is too much work for me.”I guess they’re unaware that this is literally their job. The cakes looked identical from the outside, but one of them had strawberries inside. The staff pretended to give me the cake I wanted but put the other one in the box instead. They probably assumed I wouldn’t notice because they think everyone is as foolish as they are. On top of that, I paid the price of the expensive cake for the cheaper one. This was the first time I got scammed at a bakery. I love the cakes here, but the staff are scammers. My suggestion to the person managing this place is not to...
Read morePastries are on another level. I made my first trip to this store after numerous occasions that my friends had brought me treats from this place. On this trip I purchased a croissant, Blueberry cheesecake, and a waffle. I regret not saying anything at the time, but after I payed the cashier, who was wearing gloves and had given me change with her gloves on, then grabbed my waffle with the same gloves and the Blueberry cheesecake by the small tray it was on and placing it in the Togo box. Even after I left, I looked back and noticed the cashier still handling transactions and handling food with the same pair of gloves. Definitely not...
