At Home In Taos — Local services in Taos

Out of all the gift shops in the plaza, this might have been our favorite one. We had fun looking through all the unique gifts in the store and settled on 3 items we wanted to bring home. My husband was saying he wishes he could own a store as nice as this one and enjoy watching all the people browse and converse over all the unique items. Unfortunately, the military moves me around and is not an option in his deck of cards, so instead we'll just enjoy perusing through shops like these wherever we can find them. In Taos, be sure to find this store hidden in the back corner nook...

We were met by an incredibly rude cashier at this store and will not be back despite the cute selection. She yelled at our daughter, who was holding a cup of ice cream, to get outside. We have no problem with the request but the matter in which she operated was beyond off putting to the adults and scary to our child who was spending her own money on a stuffed animal....

Oh, my goodness!! Could've spent hours browsing through the unique, artsy items in this shop. Plenty of Christmas/holiday souvenirs and decorations for loved ones.
