Placed an order on the Panera website for a delivery and the deliveries are made by DoorDash. After about an hour of waiting for my delivery and after the estimated projected delivery time by Doordarsh I click the link in my email to track my order....it's marked as cancelled by Doordarshan corporate, funny I don't remember receiving a call from anyone...so I call Panera and provide my order number. I was then told my order was in deed picked up and delivered to the wrong individual. I then ask why I wasn't contacted, I provided my phone number. I have an account with Panera so you have all my contact information, why was I not contacted. You were called by the person that received my order and told it was the wrong order, so why was I not called and my order just cancelled and my debit card charged? Panera apologizes and offers a refund, well yeah you're going to have to refund my money for a product/service that I never received.
Next step, call DoorDash to find out why no one from there never called..... apparently the dasher marked the order as never picked up cancelled AFTER PICKING IT UP AND DELIVERING IT TO THE WRONG PERSON!!!! DoorDash kept insisting that the restaurant was closed and that is why the order was cancelled (by tome stamps on emails it was 30 min after I placed my order)... um nope, here I'll call them for you on speaker (and I did so) and Panera relayed my issue is not the only issue they have experienced today apparently it has been occurring ALL DAY with DoorDash.... again DoorDash continues to try and make excuses saying well the store is closed...uh, no I just had them on the phone while you were on the phone too...anyways lesson learned, I'm just gonna pack my lunch from now on as this is not this first incident experienced with DoorDash, unless a location has their own delivery system, like a...
Read moreStarted day off by ordering 2 dozen bagels for a gathering we are having at work for a co-worker who recently passed. We have over 20 hungry workers. We waiting for our order per usual. Once we got the food we realized that we didn’t get even half of the bagels. We called multiple times, all time spoke to Sam who claimed to be a manager. He got very rude and snippy with one of our girls who paid for the food and then said we absolutely will not get a refund. Then hung up on her. We called again and he answered AGAIN. Said we either have to pick up the food ourselves or get nothing at all. We wouldn’t mind getting the food ourselves and but we just started work and can not leave for break until we do at least 3 hours of work. Sam kept saying he would call us back, but we called from work phones that would ring from a different number. If he called back he would be calling a dealership number. He never asked for any numbers. It has been over 20 minutes after he said he would call us back, never reached back out to us or our company. Sam was extremely unprofessional. We kept asking why he couldn’t deliver since Panera Bread delivers. He said he would not do that because he kept saying it was door dashes fault. It was clearly his/their fault, since door dash only delivers and does not make the food. We’ve been calling and fighting with them for an hour and a half now. We’ve dealt with bad customer service , but this has to be THE WORST. He didn’t care or even tried to even be sympathetic about what happened. I am not one to leave bad reviews but damn. He offered almost expired vouchers and just told us to attempt to use them. We didn’t want vouchers, we want to feed our workers that we have already promised to them. Read moreTonight I had the worst experience with the Taylor, MI Panera. First I called to see if they had a certain type of bread and they said they did and then promptly put me on hold and never came back to my call. After 10 minutes I called back to place my order (mind you, when placing phone in orders you MUST pay by credit card or gift certificate) and now they no longer had the bread I preferred. I chose another bread and they tried to end the call when I interrupted them to say I also wanted Mac & Cheese. At almost 2 hours before they closed they were out of all sides except apple. This didn't bother me much but in the grand scheme of things it adds to my frustration. When I went to give the associate my credit card information she just said to pay when I picked up. Now entering the store the alarm in the breezeway is blaring. I go to the counter and wait because there is only one person taking orders (even when there was now over 6 people in line before I reached the register). There are other associates that come to the front but do not help and even another associate walking around talking on her cell phone. Finally I am able to pay (which I would have been out of there if she would have taken my card over the phone). She checks my awards card and I should receive $2.00 off internet or phone in order. She then refuses to give me the discount I earned because I didn't pay for my order over the phone...unbelievable! The final straw was when the person who took my order said she didn't take my payment over the phone to make it easier on me. How was that easier on me! Needless to say...I will not be...
