It is not possible for me to give them the rating they truly deserve because it’s more than 5-stars.

I’ve been in person and ordered coffee online now I’m out of state. The shop itself is cozy, the espresso is good, and it comes out quick. You can buy their coffee by the pound and they will vacuum bag it fresh for you right there.

Ordering online I bought 8lbs of espresso beans and when it arrived I weighed it and it came up several ounces short. Emailed them and was blown away by the response. I will admit I was expecting them to tell me to pack sand over a few missing ounces. Owner personally emailed me back apologizing for the order being short and sent out another pound to make up the difference. He even checked back in to make sure I got the extra pound once it arrived. I have NEVER bought from a company that took their product and commitment to their customers this seriously, it is extremely refreshing and a testament to the owner and the company. I cannot overstate how well I’ve been treated and how accommodating hidden peaks has been, it is shocking in this day and age.

And almost as an afterthought, their espresso beans are top notch. Get a good crème in my home machine, smooth and not bitter. Some of the best beans I’ve ever run through it and will definitely be buying...

I've lived by this little coffee shop for years and never really noticed it get much business. I decided to try it out and was a bit skeptical. The staff was incredibly nice! I asked a young man what he recommended as I've never been in before. He asked a few questions about what i like and then i saw him fill with excitement as he told me he was going to make me something special. Let me just say, we all know how people exaggerate their experiences good or bad, but i am telling you now that this was the best cup of coffee I've ever had! It was incredibly smooth, it had the perfect amount of sweet and savory, it was even the perfect temperature! It wasn't scolding hot or lukewarm, but immediately drinkable and it filled my body with a real sense of relaxation! I'm telling you, this must've been how Goldy Locks felt when she found that perfect bowl of porridge. After finishing the cup, i asked what it was called. He told me it was his own drink that he perfected after working at coffee shops for so long, and that he typically doesn't make it for people. I'm a Washington native, and just moved to Utah this month. I've searched around to find someplace that made me feel like home and this is it. Atmosphere: totally laid back, you can chill or rush. Whatevs. The roasts are all incredibly well done - no burning beans for uniformity. Nice light roasts; great, well paired blends, extensive selections. Pricing is favorable - my coveted latte is a dollar cheaper than my regular stand back home and just as delicious. They definitely use high quality products and equipment to get you a smooth cup of coffee no matter what you order.

Anecdote: Since exploring some other shops in the month I've been here, I've had to start ordering my latte with no foam. The owner looked at me like I was crazy when I specified no foam on my latte (which is apparently a thing here...who orders a latte for half a cup full of foam? What is that?) This was not only a funny conversation, but has proven to me they are into coffee for all the right reasons.
