Family Stores. What does it mean to be part of a family? I've asked myself this question time and time again and today, I feel like I can finally answer it. When I walked in, I was immediately hugged by a small and freakishly short girl at the front counter. After I got over my initial shock, I realized how much I needed that hug. The dwarf asked me if I needed help finding anything and I gleefully told her, "No. You have given more than I could ever need!!!!" We bonded that day, heart to heart, like true sisters. Did I ever think that I would end up in this situation talking to this strange little girl who was working at the front of a retail store? No. But am I glad I got here? Of course. The store itself was pretty good. I love the impulse section because I can't find Oreos at such a good deal anywhere else. Truly, I can say this. This store really shows you what you can be in your life if you have enough money. In WE BOUGHT A ZOO, Matt Damon says 'that if we can you know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it' I feel like Family Stores was my bravery. That's all I'd like to say. I really appreciate the chance I had to bring these things out today and that sounds really good. We sure do appreciate all of you. TEXAS. Read moreDon't order school uniforms from this place. I bought a vest and button up sweater back in AUGUST, they just needed to send them in to get my sons school emblem embroidered on. We just barely got the vest a few weeks ago, and they finally called me two weeks ago to tell me the sweater was in and that they would mail it to me. Never received it, finally got a call this morning telling me the same thing and I said you guys called me almost two weeks ago saying this exact same thing. The girl said yeah we got the sweater in but it wasn't embroidered???? I bought the sweater at the store and all they had to do was send it in to embroider it! Oh and she said it says you haven't paid for it yet. Ummm no I have already paid for everything, why would I wait around almost two months for something I haven't even paid for yet? I would have gone somewhere else and bought one by now. They are so disorganized and the store is trashed. Save your time and go somewhere else. They don't even deserve...
Read moreJust shopped for uniforms for our fifth year. Service was always just okay, however my last trip last week was exceptional. Walking into the uniforms section, I had the sweetest young man eagerly ask if he could make things easier helping me find what I needed. I’m well seasoned when it comes to shopping there, so I excused him and mentioned I’ll find him if I needed anything. Inventory was comforting, I hate feeling like I have to scrounge. Prices were comparable. One sweet young lady ran back a few times looking for items and never lost her patience in the chaos of back to school or through the sea of frazzled parents and children. There was a problem printing my receipt and the cashier was so worked up, I assured him I am patient and taking a picture of my receipt from the computer is just fine by me. Well suited young kids for the job. Kind. Patient. And thankfully, helpful. It was a pleasant experience, especially when back to school shopping can feel...
