Very disappointing experience with many concerns about this Marcos... Ordered a pizza with the number listed on Google and put that number in my iPhone. A male answered the phone and asked me my number. When I provided it he used my first name likely from a database. He took my order and told me 30 minutes. 30 minutes later the young woman who waited on me at the counter with no mask on and no hair net either when she had been preparing food in my sight in the back when I walked in. She did not have my order. Her excuse was that I must have called the Adrian store and not the Tecumseh store. I insisted that I had the number correct from Google. No apology was made and nothing was offered to move this forward instead of going south as it was. I related that I have my family in the car and they will be disappointed. Then she offered to make me a pizza if I know what I want.... I went to my car and called the number that I ordered on earlier and she answered the phone, I had the correct number. She suggested that her delivery person may have forgotten to give anyone else my order when he took it earlier. Still no apology even though we now know that I called the correct number. She then suggested that I should have ordered on the Marco website and not used the phone..... Sigh.... I told her that I attempted that and my browser displayed a warning that the Marco web site is NOT secure and open to public viewing.... Who wants to put their credit card in a nonsecure site. This was my first experience ever attempting to order from this Marcos and by the time that I drove off I had questions about their competence, their ability to safely prepare food, their ability to operate safely in a pandemic and why a customer was treated this poorly, openly blamed for what Marcos does not have under control with their own infrastructure and again.... no apology offered. Now just before I wrote this I read other reviews and the person functioning as management here is fond of telling the many complaining clients to go to yet another Marcos web site and tell Marcos about it. Please do not bother to suggest that to me. Clearly Marco is a very poor business to do business with and if receiving your food when you order it and having it be safely prepared and you and your family treated with basic kindness and human dignity..... don't call this Marcos or you may be as disappointed as my family was. We ordered from a local chain in Clinton and had a great lunch an hour later. We will not be back to Marcos.
UPDATE: After seeing the owner's reply to me it's pretty clear that this Marcos provides very poor service because their management is very poor. If you read the reply only one of my incidental concerns is addressed, masks and this owner attempted to pivot the issue from losing my order and poor service to a political subject, mask wearing. That's very poor form. And again no apology that this Marcos lost my order and did my family and I out of a meal that we had planned on. To the owner of this Marcos - have you ever had any management training? Do you understand the meaning of the word "empathy?" In the end this could have been resolved but this owner showed me that it's true what they say that a poorly run and managed organization will have issues from top...
Read moreHighly satisfied with the service from this location. Last night I attempted to order online for delivery, but was stopped when the system said I am outside their delivery area. Knowing this isn't true as their CSR's have told my wife in the past that my address is well within the area, I took the online survey that was emailed to me regarding my experience. I simply explained the situation and how convenient ordering online can be at times. The manager, Amy, called me this evening (same day that I took the survey) and explained why their online system thinks I'm outside their delivery area, and she explained what she was going to do about it and that she will keep me posted. The icing on the cake is when Amy said, "I'm going to give you a $20 credit on your next order." In no way did I ask for that nor was I anticipating to be reimbursed for anything. She offered anyways and I am extremely grateful for that. Amy, thank you for quick response and wanting to resolve this...
Read moreGave this place another shot. Once again another disappointing experience. My order was ready when I arrived. Got the pizza, cheese bread, and cinnabread special. Get home with my order and it's missing the ranch dips I ordered with the pizza as well as the flavored crust I ordered. The pizza looked like it had been made an hour or so prior to me placing the order. Like someone ordered a similar pizza and they cancelled so they kept the pizza incase another person ordered it and I happened to be the unlucky recipient of that pizza. The boxes for both the cheese bread and cinnabread were completely coated in chocolate sauce so no matter what my hands get covered in chocolate sauce. This store is bad. Either the employees need to be retrained or this store needs completely new and competent management. Figure...
