First off, the staff is friendlier than I’ve ever experienced elsewhere. There is a happy vibe that surrounds the place!!!
a must see in Southeast Michigan. In fact, The best Mexican food I have had in Michigan.......& I’ve tried MOST!!! From the homemade salsas to the very fresh taste of every item, this is by far the most unique and flavorful experience you will find.
The decor and cleanliness make you want to stay a while. We have had so many fun days and nights on the patio and it’s a great place to try one of their very own margaritas and flavors you’ve never experienced before.
Never before have I been greeted in such a friendly and authentic way and treated so warmly throughout my meal in any other restaurant.
Whenever I am in town, I am sure to eat here once if not three times if possible. I always leave with a very good feeling in my stomach and in my heart. This place is amazing!
The owner, Valerie,, is an amazing gift to the restaurant world. this rare gem she has created in a small but lively pocket worth visiting just for this experience.
There’s even live music in the summer which brings people Together in such a beautiful & serene setting —you feel like you’re...
Read moreWe had lunch here yesterday, and my husband and I decided to split the mahi tacos. They came with a side of black beans, corn and rice, which was incredibly bland with no flavor at all. The addition of cilantro and/or seasoning would have gone a long way to make it taste better. The tacos were ok, the best part was the mahi mahi which was grilled. Our waitress was nice but wasn't able to answer our questions, like how many tacos do we get, and how much do they cost (none of that info was on the menu). The tacos didn't come with sour cream, so we ordered a side of it. Not to sound cheap, but charging 75 cents for a spoonful of sour cream is kind of ridiculous. I don't mind paying extra for something we request, but come on!!
I'd say 99% of the Mexican restaurants we've ever been to include free tortilla chips and salsa, but not here. The chips here are not good. While I do appreciate that they make all of the salsa, they are hit or miss. Some visits they are way too salty, and the garden salsa is usually watery. I do like the fire roasted salsa the best. We've eaten here several times before but don't plan...
Read moreWe visited on a BOOMING Saturday night (I think prom was going on). We were seated quickly even though all the tables were taken, and the service was friendly, inviting, and attentive. We tried lots of different menu items. As for the chip dips....the guacamole was chunky, tasty, and delicious. The portion was large. We'd definitely get it again. Their salsas we're fresh and delicious...a MUST. Skip the pico. Definitely skip the cheese dip...it was salty, runny, and flavorless like some cheap Kraft powdered mess. The fajitas were solid, and it was nice to see a meatless menu (if you ask for one). The tacos were great. Beans were pretty standard. The rice was nicely seasoned. The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the drinks! Pina coladas, margheritas, even spiced boba teas with chipotle pineapple bobas we're all awesome and felt special. The atmosphere was busy, but fun and fun to look at. If you want REALLY GOOD Tex Mex, go to Barilla in Plymouth or Maize Cantina in Ypsilanti. But ...this is a decent little place if you're in Tecumseh for the...
