Mr. Pacino's Pizza and Wings — Restaurant in Temecula

I wasn't originally going to leave a review. But, now that I have never received my refund as promised I have changed my mind. On July 17, 2017 I placed an order through Slice (which they force you to log into if you want delivery from this place) for Pacino's delivery in Murrieta, Ca. My food was old, cold, and hardened. Our salad had no dressing. Two of our meals were missing also. I called to have the two meals brought to us, along with the dressing. When the rest of our order arrived the dressing was all over the bag and the two meals. I had 2 of 3 children with no dinner while the rest of us had hard cold food. I called to ask the owner for a refund. He claimed he had to contact the Slice company about that. I then submitted my issue through the Slice Support team. Slice has extremely good cutomer service (I thought). The email exchange I had with them was more friendly and apologetic than Pacino's by FAR. Slice also helped me to understand that the owner has to give FULL PERMISSION to issue a refund. Yes, that means he lied to me when he told me he had to "contact Slice to see what they'd be willing to do." Ultimately Slice informed me that the owner had given permission for a refund minus the tip I had to consent to before the meal was ever delivered. With that being said, the refund I was to expect in 3-5 days never got credited. They did follow through with debiting my account on July 19 two days later. I will get my refund. I have contacted Slice again this morning. From my experience I would suggest to NEVER patronize Pacino's and I would also never order take out with a company who uses Slice as their middle man. I ordered a 14 inch(8 slice) classic cheese pizza and paid $18.99 plus $1.99 to add roasted garlic to it. Tiramisu for $3.99, 2 sides of garlic bread for $1.50, and a 2 liter of coke for $3.99. I put in the order notes to please bring parmesan cheese packets, and plates. (Got no parmesan cheese, nor plates) I placed my order thru Grubhub on 3/20/2023. The order arrived 10 minutes before expected, but that was where the greatness ended. Well... my 2 liter of coke was ok. AND, the garlic bread was pretty good....but for the price of $1.50 for them... i would order the garlic bread again. There are coupons on Grubhub for this establishment, and my order would have been a good deal... if the food were made and served right... but it was not.

The pizza first off... was missing the roasted garlic. No garlic at all. Such a giant disappointment not only no garlic, but the pizza was entirely cold....which is strange because it arrived early... but maybe because it had barely any cheese on it and almost no sauce. And no roasted garlic .

The other VERY strange and disappointing thing, was... MY tiramisu... CAKE, was completely rock solid frozen. This was sooooo confusing.

*I wanted to notate that I am changing my previous review, because... I ate some of the pizza later -warmed up and it was super good. The piece of cake defrosted later and that was good too.

If I would have gotten roasted garlic for reals, it would have been a 5. Maybe I will...

Really wanted to give this place a good review since I work up the street but just can't. Walked in & sat in a booth for approx. 5 mins with no acknowledgement from workers although they were walking back & forth by my table. I finally went to the cash register & told the guy it was my first time there & I was sorry I didn't realize I had to order at the counter. He was not welcoming or friendly. I ordered the the lasagna. I gave 2 stars because the portions were large however the sauce was too sweet to my liking & the edges of the noodles were dry & hard. Perhaps from re-heating. I noticed most of the positive reviews were about their pizza so I may in the future try a pizza but that's a big maybe. When I left, no other customers were there & the workers must of been in the kitchen. I said thank you & walked out without an acknowledgement from anyone which I doubt they even heard me from wherever they were. Honestly if the staff were at least friendly & let's face it "present" I would have given a better review & apt to come back at least one more time. There is so much competition in the pizza business, I prefer to spend my money where I am appreciated &...
