I'll start with the negatives: this place was easy to miss. It's in a strip mall and the sign says Croissants rather than the name of the place. They only had bottled drinks and a cheap coffee for drinks. It's very small. The wait for food was significant. However, now let's get to the good stuff! The food was de-lish-yus! We were served some complimentary corn muffins which were soft, moist, and quite tasty! We ordered hush puppies, which came with a cranberry remoulade. These were absolutely fantastic. I normally struggle with hush puppies because they are often dry and/or over greasy. These were moist, served fresh and crispy, so the outside cornmeal crumbled off perfectly and the inside was exceptionally well seasoned, moist, and delightful. I ordered the crab cake and avocado bowl. The crab cake was perfectly crispy on the crust, excellently seasoned, and delicious. The remoulade was a good addition to the bowl. I asked for mine to have eggs over easy; they were perfectly cooked and added an unctuous and flavorful component to the dish. The red potatoes as the base had a delicious Cajun seasoning that made me very happy. The dish also came with a choice of bread. Our server recommended the Creole garlic toast. That was super savory, just the right amount of buttery, and so good. I will definitely be going here again.

Small, locally owned gem. I ordered the grits with grilled alligator with cheese added and a scrambled egg and sourdough. My friend ordered the seafood mac & cheese with sausage added. Both orders came with their praline cornbread. Everything was delicious. True cheese in their mac and cheese. The grits were thick and flavorful. The grilled alligator was meaty. If you haven’t had alligator, imagine a dense chicken thigh. Soft but dense. I’m not even a huge fan of grits even after living in the south for 4 years, but i wanted alligator and wasn’t in the mood for rice (their other item was voodoo alligator over rice). These grits made me into a grits fan. The people were kind and welcoming! It is a small place and they share the store with Fresh Croissants that are also delicious and worth a try!

My goodness where do I start!! Everything was exquisite in taste and service! Arizona finally found flavor and it's located in the four walls of this small jewel!!!! The love in the food can be tasted in each morsel!!! If you close your eyes you may think you're in New Orleans! I had the crab cake and grits and it was absolutely phenomenal! I took home the crab boil and the trio with red beans and rice, crawfish etoufee and seafood rice! Everything is packed with flavor! Please try the peach cobbler! I tasted it at home and was ready to hop back in the car to slap the chef! That's a good thing! Keep up the great work!! I'll be back!!!

Decided to check out this spot today and I don’t regret it! Our server, Devida, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She greeted us with a warm smile. Her service was attentive but not overbearing, which made the experience even better. Everything was made to order, and you could really taste the care and attention that went into it. I decided to go with the shrimp po' boy, and I must say, it was absolutely on point. The shrimp were perfectly fried—crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside, which is no easy feat! The Cajun seasoning was hands-down the best I've had in Arizona—flavorful but not overpowering, and it complemented the shrimp beautifully. The sandwich itself was a great balance of crunchy, savory, and a touch of heat from the seasoning. My husband ordered the French toast with sausage, and it was nothing short of delicious. The French toast was soft and pillowy, and while it was tasty on its own, it really shone when paired with their praline syrup. The sweetness of the syrup added the perfect touch to each bite. The sausage was savory and fresh, providing a great contrast to the sweetness of the French toast. It’s clear that everything is made with care, as the ingredients felt fresh and high quality. Customer service was impeccable. Devida made us feel at home right away, and staff was friendly and attentive. It’s not every day you find a restaurant where the service is so genuinely warm. As for the ambiance, it had a cozy, inviting feel, with just the right amount of energy to make it lively without being too loud. This spot was something different in the best possible way. The food was flavorful and unique, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant. If you’re looking for a meal that strays from the norm and packs a punch of flavor, this place is absolutely worth checking out. I will definitely be...

Really really REALLY wanted to like this place, as Cajun is one of my favorite cuisines. But what an utter disappointment. The flavor, the consistency, the preparation, and the ingredients just weren't there. To me, my jambalaya was very bland and had a few pieces of shrimp and sausage and nothing else in it. It also had a very oily residue. My red beans and rice was flavorless, plain red beans on top of white rice with hardly any gravy. The fries served with the po'boy were cold. Everyone's food came out at different times. I was the last one served. Everyone was finished by the time I received my meal. What also put a damper on the experience is the very limited beverage selection which included no cups or ice. I would highly recommend at least offering freshly brewed iced tea and sweet tea with a cup of ice. The inside seating is small and restricted to a few 4 tops and a 2 top. There is no access to restrooms in the facility. You must ask an employee and they will escort you outside and into the kitchen to use the employee restroom. Major annoyance. I would encourage anyone wanting to try this place to order delivery instead of trying to eat there. This way you can doctor up the food, have a decent beverage to go with your meal, and have a restroom without the feel of inconveniencing someone. I hate to sound critical, but I have to be completely honest with my review. My experience with cajun food is from being a flight attendant for over 30+yrs and always bidding to layover in MSY, MLU, BTR, JAN, and GPT, where I could find the best cajun restaurants. 3 out of 4 of us said we would not return to Cajun...
