Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Tempe

I went thr the drive thru & there menu is slanted & hard to see. I had to pull forward to see the menu but I’m hard of hearing and then I couldn’t hear him & I had a couple ?s. I asked if he had the 2 CK sandwich’s I was thinking abt & he had I then asked which was better & he told me. I went with his recommendations. Then I placed my order pulled around & paid, he handed me my drink. He told me I spent to long in the drive thru and I needed to pull arnd to get my ordr. I said there is no one behind me, he said I took too long in the drive thru. I told him but there isn’t anyone behind me & he was holding my food in his hands. I asked for the mgr, is was, I asked 4 money bk, he gave no problem. My order was close to 40 and I video taped with my phone that there was no one behind me & it’s over 3 min long with nobody behind me & he wouldn’t give me his name. There is more to this story but I’m running out of space. I have video, I have tried to get corporate information but have got anywhere. I had stopped my phone & started to leave & a lady came to the window & asked if she could help, I explained what happened & asked for corporate she gave me a number. She was nice and seemed like she was trying to help. So she offer to re take my order. So she took my order and had me pull around and there were people pulling around behind by this time. So I pulled around paid and got my order and by the time I got home the food was cold & hard it was bad. I called, they said they would take care of it but I haven’t got anywhere. I stopped at the mesa location & told them & asked for the corporate number they talked to there mngr & said they would get back with me but have never heard from them either. I have the video to prove what I said is...

PLUGS DON'T WORK... I travel all over valley every day/night working... I drive Uber. I carry my laptop with me, and in dead times, instead of wandering aimlessly or chasing hotzones on map, i get on my laptop and keep busy til next ding goes off... After 2-3 hours my laptop dies... Usually where ever i have dinner, i take my computer inside and I plug in to charge its battery for the 30-60 min I'm there. HERE? Nope... The damn plugs don't work... According to the associate working there, a young-middle aged lady, she says all the plugs are intentionally jammed to "stop the squatters" she says... "What are squatters?" i ask... And she blatantly says "those who hang around plugged in and never leave"... Sure enough, some thing is jammed inside or behind the sockets of the plugs preventing anything from plugging into the wall sockets...

Food was good... As Carls Jr food usually is... I just wont EVER come back to thelis Carl's Jr... Apparently, if I'm a "SQUATTER", I'm not welcome. That's fine. If... Im ever in this area again... JITB up the street will get my business.

Meanwhile... As i was there, the mgr/owner of the store stopped in with car trouble... And the associate i was talking to about plugs panics telling her staff "mama bear is here" scrambling to get everything straightened up... Suddenly sweeping, cleaning fountain head, including turning them on (were off when i went to use) as I was trying to get my drink on... Allowing a cigarette smoker sitting outside main door for those who dont smoke to pass, and between orders... The COOK was seen outside repeated times sitting on car watching inside doing God Knows what...

EVERYTHING ABOUT this place was a JOKE... I been to many Carls Jr many times... I will NOT return...

Thoroughly disappointed. I used to really appreciate Carl's Jr burgers, i found them to typically be flavorful, quality and filling.

I recently decided to try out Carl's Jr. again, at the scottsdale location, and have been thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the guacamole bacon angus beef burger, and I have a few issues. The burger was put together extremely sloppily, with more guac than meat and other fixings COMBINED. The texture of the guac overwhelmed everything else and the burger itself tasted relatively flavorless, with a slight hint of char. Additionally, due to the pure amount of guac, the burger quite literally fell apart before i could even finish it. After just eating half of it, I stopped because i began to physically feel sick, and still feel sick at the time of writing this.

Severely disappointed. This'll probably steer me clear of Carl's for potentially years to come, especially given that this is supposed to be a higher quality location...
