DaYung's Tea -Tempe — Restaurant in Tempe

There is a place in Tempe, Arizona. It is wedged between a Mediterranean restaurant and a hair salon, wherein lies the key to taming my girlfriend's temper tantrums and bad days. Without this panacea, I would be eaten alive by my girlfriend and my bones would be crushed to dust. If there ever is a day that I stay at work later than my scheduled time, imply a sarcastic undertone in my response to my girlfriends vents, or maybe the misalignment of the planets cause my girlfriend's mood to be soured, I pick up a milk tea boba from Dayung. I hide it in my backpack and head home, where I am greeted by a petite Chinese Materials Major that is possessed by a demon with the wrath of 1000 demons and dragons hellbent on consuming me. I drop my backpack and slowly inch towards the zipper containing the boba, never once breaking eye contact. I watch for sudden movements that might instantly light me on fire. I bring out the boba and watch in breathless wonder as the Heaven's open up and God's Light shines in the living room as my cute girlfriend greets me as she drinks the milk tea boba like a man stranded in the desert in search of water. All is well. Thank you DaYung. You are the real MVP.

TL;DR I recommend the Strawberry Fresh Milk with Boba and Milk...

I decided to try this place because I was having a craving for boba and I saw their grand opening sign. I discovered that this place is awesome beyond my expectations! They use real tea and fruits for their drinks and don't use powders for their drinks like most bubble tea places do. They gave me 3 different samples of drinks to try, the jade lemon, one of their warm milk teas (and she even added a few boba balls!) and another iced brown tea for me to try. They were all delicious, but I ended up getting jade lemon with chia seeds and boba because I wanted a light cold and refreshing drink. The jade lemon tastes like lemonade but not too sweet or heavy, and they even put a slice of lime in the top to make it even more beautiful...yum! Oh, and I forgot to mention, even with adding both the chia seeds and boba, the drink came out to $4.51. I will definitely be back. (Fyi...if your purchase is under $5 they don't take credit, so if you're just getting 1 drink, bring cash...they are a new business...

Everything necessary to make a great milk tea boba. Quality and fresh tea, fresh fruit, great textured boba, superior prices, and multiple options. Best in Arizona, and top 3 I've had in the US.

We had both black tea latte (fresh milk) and the Boba milk tea (classic black tea and creamer) - both of which black tea pierced through the cream, giving a flavorful and balanced beverage. We also had the DaYung's Mixed fruit beverage and orange green tea - refreshing cocktail both made with fresh fruit and quality jasmine green tea. Usually not a fan of fruit drinks but this knocks it out the park

Their black tea machiattos has a delicious creamy foam, marked with a sweet caramel flavor on top of a smooth and flavorful Assam black tea.

We recommend 30% sweetness for the milk teas to avoid overpowering the drink and to enjoy the wonderful flavor of their quality teas. Did I mention every drink...
