Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tempe

Im a frequent Customer i work down the street monday-fri my wife was with me one day she wanted a side of rice due to medical issue she had to use the restroom 🚻 first it was 2pm between 2:15pm she proceeded to the restroom and the a woman was cleaning the men's restroom she stopped my wife that she couldn't use the woman's restroom. My wife said I have medical issue she can not hold her bladder she stated to my wife she could use the restroom somewhere .which was very rude and unprofessional and unkindness to a customer who has medical issue. 20 minutes later I called and ask for the owner or the manager to voice my concern the woman who answered the phone handed the phone to another woman which probably a co worker asked rudely and hung up. Neither will I or 6 other Co workers that frequent this restaurant weekly will never eat here again. I will never recommend this restaurant to future co workers and family or associates because of un kindness and professionalism and selflessness of the woman wanted to control...

How is this place still in business?!

The dining facility is always empty when I go, and I can understand why.

Two times I have been to this location and both times I have been disappointed. I am disappointed by the poor service and the barely edible food.

When I walked in today, I spoke to the Mexican lady that everyone speaks of in these reviews. When I ordered she had to go fetch the other employees as they were out back. The boy who cooked my food was being yelled at by the Mexican lady and I could not understand. As I don't speak Spanish. The boy cooked the food as fast as he could and threw the food on the counter and ran out back again.

My food was poorly prepared, small portions, under cooked meat, and the grilled tacos were still flimsy. (I like my tacos crispy). There was no one to complain to because as always there is no one in the building.

Also notice how the only people giving this place good reviews are skechy. Some of them are just called...

Look I love Filberto's, even though I know they aren't the most sanitary places, but I will not be going back to this location. I called in a pick up order and the woman on the phone asked me when I would be there, I told her I could be there in about 5 minutes. She then when on about how busy she was and that she could have it ready in 15, which is understandable, so I waited to head over there and showed up about 20 minutes later. When I showed up she had not put my order in and once again blamed it on being "busy", which really meant they only had one cook working. Instead of trying to rush my order through, because she made a mistake, she put me at the back of the line as if I had just ordered my food when I showed up. Overall, the experience took about 45 minutes because I waited for nothing those first 20 minutes, the place was poorly staffed, and the woman who took my order was...
