Filiberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tempe

Taco Tuesday I ordered 3 tacos the special of the day on Tuesday I noticed out of the three tacos open one of the items where single wrapped the other two were double wrapped .Hence the cook came forward and glared at me more than once over the past 6 months of me buying the daily specials. I'm not sure if it's a personal issue but I do know that I have caught the staff sneezing, coughing,using unhealthy procedures handling food. So I decided to open up the tacos to inspect them under the light to see why they were snickering at me after I paid while the cook stood glaring at me as I drove away ... Before I have noticed that I might not be there most favorite customer but it's not a reason to expose me of body fluids or Covid since the last year I have gotten Covid 3 time this past year and seen the lady working drive thru sneezing into customers orders using Grub hub. I know that accusation are serious and a serious consequence but it needs to stop. I saved the items and found a sticky substance either spit or flem ? Either way I didn't eat this item. I reported them to the Health department...

I have eaten at filiberto's since it opened many years ago. In fact, my fiance and I ate at the location by my house at least once a week until she passed away 10 dsys ago... I dont know what they did different at this location, but 20 dollars worth of foid went in the trash due to thier red sauce being excessively hot!!! It was downright intolerable. My friend, my son and I threw it away because it was just too much to handle and the ruined the taste of the food. I can handle suicide wings, habanero salsa, I put hot sauce on everything. I normally eat 2 red sauce and two green sauce on everything and never has my mouth been on fire like it was after just dipping my rolled taco in the red sauce one time. This ruined me for this location and I will never be going to this location again. Why change something that you have done the same for so many years has so many different locations? Thanks for ruining our dinner just because someone felt like making the hot sauce different. It was downright stupid and I'm sure you will receive many complaints today. You should probably dump that sauce...

They refused to give me the free medium drink with my combination plate. I tried to order the chimichanga and get my soft drink that supposed to be included with it and they tried to charge me $2.49 not going to happen. They might as well spit in my food.

I don't know about you but I'm getting sick and tired of people trying to rip me off I'm done.

From now on I go to El paisano restaurant he'll there's two of them almost a block away there's one on the patchy and then there's one on lemmon the food is less expensive and better you get more of it oh yeah I forgot to mention they act like they're glad to see you they are glad to see you what a nice surprise.
