I ordered online through the app. I came in at the time my order was expected to be ready. When I came in nobody even looked At me. Not a single hi, nothing. Iām not super hard to please either.. in fact, saying hi or not saying hi isnāt a deal breaker for me. I proceeded to ask if there was an order ready for me and the two girls looked at me as if I were crazy and just shook their heads and said no. The manager, or at least I think it was the manager, yelled from the back saying my food is next up. Totally fine. I stood and waited not even a minute longer. Said manager, came around the counter with my bag of food and just tossed it up on the counter like I wasnāt even standing there waiting. Mind you, I was the only person waiting for food in the pick up. She didnāt even have the decency to hand it to me. Just threw it on the counter and said ā order for Christineā and walked away. Not even sure what I did wrong or what happened there, but Iāll be going to other locations who know how to treat ALL their customers right.
Food was great tho. Itās a real bummer customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't waste your money here, you've been warned. I used to enjoy eating here, but I give up on feeling duped out of our hard earned money. Spent $50 for a teriyaki chicken bowl with comically small portions and the food that was served was far from fresh (strange looking old/dehydrated sweet potatoes, unripe hard avocado, old limp carrots that were still hard/undercooked), and everything else we ordered was either inedible or severely lacking in ingredients that its supposed to come with...our 2 chx and kale wraps had chicken, a slice of tomato, a tiny piece of kale, no dressing and 2 little shreds of cheese. On top of that the chicken (basically the only ingredient they put in the wrap, looked undercooked on spots, pink tint). I'm not exaggerating. It was so sad. And the sides we ordered for the kids, sweet potatoes (looked like week old, dehydrated, with mostly little shreds of sweet potato skins...what??) And the quinoa had sugar snap peas that were very pale green, not fresh AT ALL. I couldn't even let my kids eat it for fear of them getting sick. We left feeling hungry still, and regretting the food that we did consume, and out of $50. Chop Shop is not what they used to be. Come here at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually love this place. But today I got an Acai Bowl around 830am & took it home. Once I was eating, it tasted great as usual. Then I started choking & couldn't breathe & pulled a piece of plastic out the top of my throat. I was in disbelief!šØ So I started digging around in the fruit bowl & found several (12+) pieces of a purple plastic bag. Some pieces are as big as the top of my finger. Looking closely, one piece actually reads part of the word "Acai". I called the Chop Shop location (Warner & Emerald, off I-10, in front of IKEA) & asked to speak to the manager. They asked who I was. Then put me on hold and Julie or Julia answered saying she was manager for the shift. She apologized, said they don't do refunds & offered a credit on my account for future food. Are you kidding me?!? I didn't ask for a refund. I just don't want anyone else to freaking choke to death!!!!š To be honest, she didn't sound like she took it serious. Almost sounded like she was talking through a smile or holding back a laugh. I'm just shell-shocked now!š³ Is it even possible to ACCIDENTLY put that much plastic in someone's food????!!!! No wonder I was the only customer that...
