HORRIBLE FOOD and SLOWEST WORST service EVER! Manager aka LALA is a extremely Rude and unprofessional person. The Food was absolutely horrible..... I have eaten at chilis for over 30 years and this is NOT how Chilis treats customers. East Texas Chilis have always served fresh hot awesome food and had a fun and Fast highly professional Staff ..... This Chilis should be closed permanently...... The Mac and cheese was mush it was so overcooked and soupy my husband spit it back in the cup after trying to taste it. The ribs were not fresh and were so salty and nasty and old it tasted like they took a dry rub rib and covered up in sauce and they were awful... the chicken tenders were microwave and smelled like they were freezer burned. Did not even resemble a Chilis chicken tender..... The brisket quesadilla was a greasy flour tortilla with totally burnt cheese inside with a dab of premade bbq brisket like the kind you get in a frozen tub in the cheapest freezer section . Everything was Horrendous. To top it all off the manager is rude and makes excuses and is a Liar...... she actually accused me of being rude to the server and Not at any point was I rude or my husband..... Even though the food was absolutely disgusting and the service was the slowest and worst I ever experienced we were not ever rude to the server. I don't know if this unprofessional rude female who said that her name is LaLa is actually even the manager......... She sounded so very ignorant and rude and it's hard to believe that she was manager.. but it's Saturday at 2:51 and I just spoke with her less than 30 minutes ago. So hopefully her boss and corporate will be getting this message. I will be reporting this location to Corporate and I told her that.. she doesn't care. She wanted to blame me for the terrible experience and horrendous awful food and she didn't want to make anything right......... I wish I would have walked out and went next door to IHOP when we had to ask the waitress 3 times to take our order and noticed that the entire place was almost empty ....... corporate will be notified and we should have not been charged anything..... We both left feeling sick and still hungry...
Read moreCame when the store was not very busy. Took 15 minutes to get a waiter to acknowledge us after we had been seated. We ordered an appetizer and entrees, all at the same time. I asked to make sure that the entree was brought out before the meal. (Because we have had this happen before) We waited 30 minutes before appetizer showed up. Had asked for a manager and the manager's attitude was nonchalant like it wasn't a big deal of waiting half an hour for an appetizer. Not even 2 minutes after our appetizer is out, here comes our entrees. Each time the waitstaff has been OK, but the kitchen has been slow and management didnt seem to really be all that concerned. Our waiter actually had to make our appetizers. Manager actually said that they ran out of food and the eggrolls were still frozen. On a Friday we arrived at 4:45pm.....how do you run a kitchen when it's slow and not prepped for the upcoming dinner shift??? On that note, no one even told us they did not have thawed food. Or even asked if we wanted something else. Poor management reflects with poor service, when you have poor service it's due to poor management. The "It's good enough" attitude is what causes problems and course poor service. Instead of going above and beyond for quality service its "meh" in here. I still tipped the waiter because he did try. I was served by Stephanie. I specifically asked for no pork on my food, she gave me bacon bits on my fries, pork sausage and pulled pork on my husbands burger. I know people think its weird but when i ask please no pork, and I get a whole platter of pork, its poor waitressing. Poor service.
But yeah if your faith requires you not to eat unclean animals this isnt the place. They dont care. They dont listen. Im asking for someone to not put an ingredient in my food, thats less work for the chef.
I was also eating with people, she asked if we were seperate or together and I said together, I was paying for all of it. Tell me why she split the bill? I gave her a $50 thinking the meal was 44 and to keep the change as a tip. When I asked her. Hey i want the $50 back. I'll be paying by card instead. She was like, no, i already processed the payment. Nope! Got the manager which was more than willing to give me my money back to pay with card instead. I got my $50 dollar bill back, and she got 0% tip. Yep.
When you ignore your tables dietary request, no pork, when you deny me back my cash because ill be paying with card because you really thought you were gonna steal a tip. Nope. Guess again.
I haven't been given this much trash service before in a long time. Thats real unfortunate.
