Wow wow wow, I don’t think I’ve experienced such unprofessionalism and inconsideration. I had applied online and set up an interview for 10:30AM. This particular establishment doesn’t open until 10:45AM.
I stood at the door, waiting to be let in knocking and waving, and nobody would answer let alone acknowledge the fact I was at the door. It was a little bit frustrating but as someone who’s worked opening shifts before I totally understood. I figured I would just wait for 15 minutes to be let inside, no big deal.
I finally got inside and I’m greeted by the young man at the counter. I let him know that I had an interview. I didn’t let him know that it was already 15 minutes after the fact because it wasn’t anyone’s fault I wasn’t in a position to call the store to let them know I was waiting outside.
He goes to the back to let god only knows know that I was there for an interview and hands me a cup. I sit down at a booth and proceed waiting for 30 minutes. 30 whole minutes go by and not one person comes to the counter to update me. No one person lets me know that a manager was held up at the moment, someone would be on their way, that they’d need to reschedule. Nothing. Keep in mind. The interview confirmation says it was only a 20 minute interview from 10:30 - 10:50. Was I expected to wait an entire hour? Longer than that even?
I ultimately chose to just get up and leave. The lack of communication, lack of preparation, lack of professionalism, lack of consideration are all red flags for any type of lead or management at all whatsoever.
They did not value my time at all whatsoever. It baffles me how everyone is hiring but no one’s taking candidates? You have your company posted for help wanted then do your due diligence and show up by doing your part.
Even if you were no longer taking candidates, you could’ve at least let me know that so I wasn’t sitting there wasting my time waiting or at least did the interview even if you weren’texpecting one...
Read moreThe manager at this restaurant is the rudest person that I've ever met in a restaurant in my life. A gentleman was making my husband's burrito that work there very nice young gentleman. And the manager came up and took over and said I got it from here. My husband had already explained to the young gentleman that he wanted steak and barbacoa double meat on his burrito. The woman made his burrito and he said hey I wanted barbacoa also so she put it on there and then we went to pay try to charge him for double meat times two. My husband simply explain to her that the kid knew exactly what he had ordered and then she proceeded to tell us that we were no longer welcome in Chipotle. Well then my husband let her have it. We've only been to this place three times and two of the three times the same Mexican lady that is the manager or the shift leader has been rude to us. We also proceeded to let her know that we had just recently ordered off of Uber eats and then they did not send our large guacamole but we did indeed receive the chips and she said oh it was probably your driver that stole the food. It makes absolutely no sense why would he just take the guacamole but bring us our three burritos and a bag of chips. These bags come sealed with a sticker and the sticker was not tampered with. Me nor my friends or any family members which a lot live here in Temple belt and area will ever visit this...
Read moreI drove all the way and walked in at 12:15 just to be completely astonished at the awful customer service provided by the chipotle.
I waited in their line and when I got to the front and asked for white rice, the girl said “we don’t have white rice, your only option is brown.” I was so confused when hearing her say that because normally, chipotle employees will give you a time estimate is which something is ready or tell you that they are working on it, but no, she rudely dismissed my order. Then I asked if they were out of anything else and she said, “yes we’re out of queso, do you want the brown rice or not.” At that point my mind was blown. So I asked, “It’s only 12? Are you guys out everything for the rest of the day or??” Cause I didn’t mind waiting. I drove 30 minutes to get here, I didn’t mind moving to the back and waiting until they had stuff cooked and I wouldn’t have complained. But no. She puffed in irritation and responded with. “No, we’ll eventually make more, but later in the day.” I finely just walked away, and watched others walk away as well because of her attitude.
If you can’t show customer service, don’t work it. I’ve been in customer service for 6 years and never seen something as bad as that. Very sad as I wasted so much of my time and gas as a loyal chipotle customer, just to be treated...
