Updated: This location continues to be busy each morning. It remains to be seen if the opening of Dunkin Donuts puts a dent in the lines, but one would assume not, as Dutch Bros has had little impact on the throngs of consumers who need their coffee. Despite the longer lines, this location still delivers good customer service on a consistent basis. We see some supply chain issues impacting the store, but the employees do the best they can with what they have on hand. This location is still 5 of 5 stars for the daily consistency of making customers feel welcomed and valued. Older:Zachary is an employee that Starbucks should make every effort to keep on their team. He is awesome at remembering what customers usually order, and is a quintessential gentleman; always polite and helpful. It is worth patronizing this Starbucks over others in the area, due to consistently good service and quality. This the better operated location in the Temple/Belton area. Use the Starbucks app, as it has some nice features. I’m going there anyways, might as well earn some points. Finally, a Starbucks location where the drive through line is not a tortuous endeavor, as this one starts to the back of the building, eliminating pedestrian traffic or blocking patrons in their parking spaces. Read moreUpdate: For anyone who reads this, do you get that I'm not upset over the $1.25. I'm upset that they didn't charge me for it until they told me they didn't have the item. After that is when they charged me. I called up there and the response was that they would have told me about the refund at the window. What refund? I hadn't been charged yet. They chose to still charge me. Does this make sense to anyone. I then get the generic AI response of I can send them more info. They have nothing in place when there is an issue. 9 times out of 10 they will be fine, but I want a business that always does the right thing or is willing to correct the mistake without me having to do all the work for their mistake.

Read moreThis is a location I typically frequent and have never experienced anything but great service until today, April 6. I call ahead as a courtesy to order one of their travelers. When calling the barista answering couldn't tell me if they could do it or not and had to ask the assistant manager working at 3:30 this afternoon. After 5 minutes she comes back to the phone saying it could be done but not available unti 6:30pm! It really takes 3 hours?!?? So I ask...is that really the earliest? She excuses herself to ask the assistant manager if 6:30pm is the earliest when I overhear the manager reply well if she wants to be difficult I want to just say no and the barista taking my call replies yeah to him...all while I'm on the phone waiting and listening to this conversation. I call the location off the loop in Temple and it's no problem for me to pick one up in half an hour....where is the customer service West Adams...
