Tres Magueyes 1 — Restaurant in Temple

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. We arrived, looks great on the inside, good atmosphere. We are seated and given our menus. 20 minutes pass by and noone has stopped by for drinks or food. We wave someone down (the hostess) and tell her. Her response was "Oh no". Nobody was assigned to our table. 5 more minutes go by and a waitress comes apologetic for the whole ordeal. (Out of the whole experience, at least she was honest and upfront with us). We order our food and wait. The food came out at a good pace, except for the fact I did not get food. The servers left and my waitress came back asking how everything was. I informed her that I did not get my order. She goes to find out what's going on. She comes back to tell me that they have my food to someone else. I asked if they were heating it up now, as my co-workers were already eating. Her response was "No, there are now 2 tables ahead of you". So, my food was given to someone else and now I have to wait even more for the businesses mistake? Everyone is nearly done with their food and mine arrives. The food itsself isn't bad, some good parts to it. Now we wait another 10 minutes to get our check, just for her to ask if we wanted separate checks. Yes please. She comes back with our checks and all the drinks are on the wrong tickets, so my water and food is now 18$. I noticed that on the tickets, gratuity is already included also. Our 45 minute lunch turned into almost 2 hours long. I will never visit your establishment again, nor will I ever recommend...

Ok. The food was great honestly. But one thing is customer service for take in / call in orders. They need to do better. I encountered a problem today. I ordered through phone to of course pickup in restaurant the woman has attitude when one of the orders just needed another adjust me ! Strike 1 ! Yet when I picked up the order I paid by card. Once I finally noticed my transaction was added 3 extra dollars in my bank card. I called immediately. Spoke to a lady there & she remembered my order but yet I mentioned the issue I'd an extra charge she told me they do tend to charge extra when using card. Strike 2 ! I informed the lady I was not notified. She said well it's on the board. Remember lady I called in the order I would I suppose to know an extra charge would've added because of course I'd I was notified I would paid cash. Lady pause for a while over the phone. So Interrupted the silence told her do not worry about that, this would be the last of a transaction here ! So please be aware or ask when you order over phone the charge fee for card transactions or you will be in...

Well weve been going here for awhile, have always enjoyed the food. Tonight turned our stomachs and we will never go back. My daughter from out of state is visiting and her order was wrong eating inside. We asked for it to be corrected. To our surprise her plate she ate off was taken back to the kitchen, the somewhat torn apart burrito came back to the table with food stuffed in the burrito.. This is a huge Health violation, and a dirty plate should never be in the kitchen with fresh food.. I explained this to the wait staff, i dont think she knew what we were saying.. however this is how food contamination and Hepatitis A spreads in the food industry. The cooks should know better. If not the owner needs to be there on Saturdays, because its always a problem when hes not there. Currently there have been Hep A outbreaks in US, so now we feel sick to our stomachs worried about what else the cooks do with food..anyways were Not...
