Horrible management, especially with seeking a job opportunity, they are discriminative against non hispanics, i apply with them get the interview, do the interview (as everything went okay) and she said she would call me back after calling my last job (Burger King) to verify that i worked there and i wait two weeks with no call back.. So I eventually call and the hiring manager i speak to picks up the phone i then ask about my application/hiring process and she then hands the phone to another worker and he begins to tell me “she isn’t there she will be tomorrow in the morning” (obviously i have to wait till the morning) so the morning gets there and i call and some other worker picks up the phone and i asked about my hiring process and she tells me the hiring manager is off today, so i further explained that they told me she was gonna be there today and i then the worker lied to me told me that the hiring manager will call me, then i insinuate they’re ghosting and then that’s when the worker tells me “maybe she don’t have a job for you” like all that time wasted for nothing, jobs in 2024 need to stop ghosting and discriminating against people who are looking for opportunities, it should be illegal for you to lie about or discriminate against people who are looking for jobs ! Read moreI’m a trucker so obviously I can’t take my 18 wheeler thru drive thru. Witch I explained it to a employee by knocking on the main door window. The employee stated to cut in line and he will get the manager. Not stating I can not be served. Proceeded to stand outside across the food pick up window for 30 mins in the cold. While the employee constantly look at me why taking order bout 8 or 9 cars further out. I finally realized no manager was coming. So I cut line and ask the employee at the service window. “I thought you was getting your manager”. So he finally got his manager “Gloria”. She stated it’s policy not to serve at the window with no vehicle. Even tho I told her I’m in a 18 wheeler. I told her your employee didn’t say that. Read morePlease do better I’ve worked in the restaurant business for years so I know that it can get busy at times but a simple acknowledgment would be great. Crew members including managers just look at you and not say anything while continuing to do whatever they are doing. Leaving a line of people A simple “ Hi welcome to McDonald’s someone will be right with you” will do just fine. Also if there is only two people in line you can take both orders then go back to what you are doing taking two orders at a time would be more sufficient than taking one and doing a million things comeback to them 5 minutes later.
