BOkkEUM — Restaurant in Texarkana

Usually have a great experience with this place . Today I ordered and I asked for no veggies like I always do . When I noticed the mistake I called her to let her know what was wrong with my order and asked her could she remake it . She argued with me on the phone for 5 minutes stating that she wasn’t wrong ..I’m pretty sure I know what I ordered because I NEVER get veggies at any hibachi place . I asked her could she remake my food (food wasn’t touched or ate ) or could I get a refund since I was on lunch or could I come in another day and just get it remade the correct way (still offered to bring the food even though it was possible I wouldn’t be leaving with the correct order since I was on lunch ) she told me absolutely not cause she knows she didn’t make a mistake and said I would have to pay to get another order of the correct food and that was the only way she would remake it . Will never be back . I got the worst customer...

This place has always been fantastic with both food and customer service! I absolutely love the special chicken. I have always had great experience talking while the food is prepared and they take genuine interest in the customer experience. I have noticed some reveiws discussing their times and closures that I feel should be addressed. As a small/local business ran by 2 people, life happens. When you only have 2 people running what I feel is one of the best quality Asian cuisine places locally, I'm far more understanding that sometimes they may be going through things that the rest of town has no business knowing. This feels like a local concept restaurant. I usually don't leave reviews but I feel you are leaving a lot of return business on the ground. Food seemed fresh enough but the drawbacks as constructive suggestions are as follows. Dine in customers don't necessarily like to eat out of Styrofoam containers with basic plastic ware. There was a bland flavor profile with only bottled sriracha sauce and soy sauce to make it more enjoyable. I as a customer shouldn't be leaning on those items to enhance the flavor. Menu is very limited. I ordered a fried rice plate but the vegetables were almost in a stew like sauce on the side instead of being stir fried with the rice and meat. Service was nice but I was looking for more of a traditional menu and flavor profile. I wish you the best with...
