Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Texarkana

Store is always dirty. If you want a clean table you have to clean it yourself. I got used to carrying wipes in my purse just for this. We moved here from Oklahoma last May from a small town and we’re excited to have a chic fil an actually in the town and every single visit is horrible. Always dirty, I can’t even count how many times we have been there this last year. 30-40+ and I have NEVER I mean NEVER gotten my food in under 20-25, no matter if it is 2 of us or the 4 of us! It is ridiculous! The past 4 times I have went the manager has brought the tray out with my money refunded because it took well over 40 minutes for 2 meals. Employees are rude and if they forget something such as a straw, sauce or whatever they roll their eyes, huff and puff like it’s a huge inconvenience for them. I can’t name one certain employee because it happens 85% of the time. Every other and I mean every other chic fil a that I have been to I am greeted nicely and professionally, have my food in under 10 minutes usually closer to 5 mins and not once has an employee walked away or closed a conversation without saying, “ My Pleasure”, no matter the day, time, weather, etc. However, the unprofessionalism at the Texarkana location is unreal, I have been greeted with a smile and a “what can I get you today” but mostly it is an immediate “name for the order”, tells you the total, you pay, they had drinks and say “ Next “! Very very rude! Like I said my kids would eat Chic Fil A every single day, 5 times a day if they could and it’s sad when they say “ Mama they are rude there let’s go somewhere else “. Lastly, it is beyond difficult to take a team there after a game or trip because it takes over an hour to get food for 10-12 kids. 90% of local schools have chosen to eat somewhere else just because of this reason. One of the biggest things is they close out orders to meet their 10 minutes and then forget about it until you ask for it! There is not a day that I have been where they didn’t close the order out and have to ask me what I had or take my receipt, it happens...

This had been a VERY loved eatery by my 10yr old son and I😍🥰😍 since our 1st visit in 2016! Chick-fil-A is special and brings back very sentimental memories from our countless trips to the Dallas Texas area since 2016! 🥰 I even have a card my son made for me in 2017 which hangs on our dining room wall! It reads "Mom, I love you more than all the Chick-fil-A's and U & Me's in the world!" ❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟♥️♥️🌟♥️❤️ I SAID ALL THE ABOVE to let everyone & CHICK-FIL-A know We ♥️love♥️going to this 🌟restaurant..... And since the birth of my 4yro son we have been anticipating making many more happy memories with Both our boys at Chick-fil-A!

Very busy. But every location (and we have been to MANY) is busy. But the service has ALWAYS been (prior to yesterday's) VERY personal, speedy fast, friendly and the food PEFECT and EXACTLY as ordered. However not at this Texerkana TX. location. Very impersonal experience. Staff was not friendly or helpful. My husband I and felt like we were cattle being headed towards a corral. Play area ☢️ STUNK, was OVERRUN with much older, misbehaved, unsupervised children that were loud, rambunctious and disrespectful towards my 4 & 10yro sons. Which made the playtime that was eagerly anticipated by my boys a VERY traumatic experience that ended in tears, anger, a memory I hope they forget and a bad taste in my mouth! We spent $46+ only to be given an incorrect bag of food, shakes that were runny & the cup lids were placed on improperly! (one of them came off as my 10yro took a drink and dumped out all over his new suits that we had just purchased at GQ Look, also in Texerkana [☆Great Dress Store☆] We scooped up our crying 4yro & our very upset and angry 10yro son, grabbed some napkins and ran out the door through the massive drive through maze to our parked car😱😱😱 What a very different experience! Will NEVER think about returning to this Chick-fil-A location! We hope your experience at Texarkana TX Chick-fil-A is...

As of March 31, 2019, the former operators of this franchise's location, who were once previously the operators of the Central Mall location (prior to 2004), the Dodsons (Mike and Christie) have officially retired as owner/operators of this Chick-fil-A restaurant in Texarkana, Texas.

As of April, the restaurant is still open for business, but it is under the direction of a new owner-operator, whose name I do not personally know and which I cannot report in this review.

The restaurant features a double drive-through (2 lanes for cars and customers electing the restaurant's drive-through service) design and also includes dining areas inside the restaurant with tables and booths for customers' convenience and enjoyment.

A small play area for children under the posted height requirement includes a small slide with limited equipment for play including short climbs and hides. Please be aware food and drinks are prohibited inside the play area.

Locals, travelers, groups of all types and sizes, tour busses, and sports teams are all welcome during business hours.

Standard Chick-fil-A catering options are also available here, but advance notice for all catering orders is best, most preferred (if not required), and certainly advisable given this location has a long history of being busy around the clock in its service to customers.
