Iāve been coming to this Starbucks for 1.5 years and always had good experience up until now. The drinks used to be great, no matter what you ordered it would taste perfect. I also started getting to know the majority of the baristas and they were all very friendly. However up until recently, Iād say for the last couple of weeks especially, they seem to have had a major staff shakedown/restructure. A lot of the old timers seem to have been gone and these new people that they are hiring are HORRIBLE. The drinks have never SUCKED so much I donāt know if the baristas are just sleep walking when making drinks. Iāve had matcha lattes that was literally flavorless and tasted like diet soy milk, and Iāve had hot mochas that tasted like there was no coffee nor syrup in it at all, just some weird tasting sugar packet that was thrown in. Upon entering the store, I was met with a disorganized and chaotic scene. The line was long and moved at a snail's pace, despite there being only a few customers ahead of me. It seemed as though the staff were overwhelmed and lacked the necessary efficiency to handle the demand. As a result, I found myself waiting for an unreasonable amount of time just to place my order.
Unfortunately, my disappointment did not end there. When I finally reached the counter, I was served by an employee who appeared disinterested and unfriendly. Although the staff had a very long and busy day, they were very patient and attentive while we were making our selections. We are avid Starbucks customers but have to drive an hour and a half to the nearest store. So making the right selection before 9 p.m., closing time is very important. We were blessed to have Conner offer great advise in the selection of drinks . Keep in mind it was already closing time, and Conner continued to walk us through drink selections and flavors to best fit our need for the drive back home as well for the following work day, we were so excited to leave with our drinks in hand as were were leaving, the manager Kim,thanked us for our visit and made us feel welcome to come back soon.
