Hoppe’s Sports Grill — Restaurant in Texas City

We had a good experience the night before. Came back tonight. Ordered the exact same thing and the same time of day. Drinks were $2 more per drink. The crawfish came out cold. Second re order took 45 minutes. All small not like the first order or the order the night before. Sent that back. Had to wait another 30 minutes. Then they said they don’t have any”real” butter. Only margarine. !!! Wow. Who serves fake butter??? The manager was about 16 years old and his response was “we had to cook 6 pounds of crawfish to get it right so we can’t comp anything”. Wow. That’s all. Words of advice. Spend your money elsewhere. These owners need to get their crap together. Instead of walking around with a tv remote in your hand, help the bar tender out, and get the food out while it’s hot. We watched plates sit under the heat lamp for 25 minutes at a time. You can’t have one bar tender to serve an entire restaurant of people. Get off your 16 year old ass and help! Never going...

We tried to sit on the patio last night, it was a little slow. Watched a waitress come out side and ask one table if the would like anything. I said, "Ma'am we would like to get something" and she responded "ok one minute". 10 minutes goes by a different lady comes out and is extremely rude telling us they were not serving anyone outside when we could clearly see them serving other people. she said we could move inside which we responded it's a little too loud for us in there and she said ok bye. A complete waste of 30 minutes...

I ordered the Chicken Tender Basket that comes with fries, the fries were cold and very much disgusting.The onion rings and the fried zucchini are delicious at this location. The loaded nachos were okay and the beer was nice and cold. What I don't understand is why take my order and not wright it down, to then come back and ask me again what I ordered. Not only that but I ordered a pretzel and wasn't told they ran out until I asked when it would...
